Roberts understands installing a new outdoor floor covering can be challenging. Here are some key product usage points regarding the 6700 adhesive that may improve performance and satisfaction. During the installation process- Ensure the substrate is dry, clean free of contaminates (old adhesives, dirt, oil, paint etc.) Do not install outdoors if rain is expected 24 hours before or after installation. Choose the appropriate trowel size for flooring and substrate. Ensure the appropriate Open Time is observed during installation(approximately 20-30 minutes). Do Not allow the adhesive trowel ridges to skin over, this prevents transfer of adhesive to the back of the flooring.
