Love love love this big bad boy turbo model. Our upstairs won’t stay cool in the summer so two hours before bed we have this positioned at the base of the stairs blowing the much cooler air upstairs and it works fast making upstairs as cool as downstairs. It’s been a godsend! Please keep making this bigger more powerful model. I noticed I don’t see it in stores anymore which is where I bought it. In forever sold on this very powerful unit.

This is a real review, this fan could not have come at a better time recently we had a down pour of 3” in an hour and a half as I found out my sump pump stopped working. I had a dehumidifier running on a timer all year round due to upstate N.Y. weather but when the rain started I knew it was going to last, I went down and saw water in the basement around the set tub wall and by sump well. I immediately looked for a fan and remembered I had this fan out back in shop garage, life saver, switch #1 did the trick after 7 hours with dehumidifier and new sump pump. This portable fan I used to blow swept up dust out to door in my garage, move hot air out a window and last to dry my basement floor. If you can find one of these on sale get it, not to big, not heavy, well balanced, long cord, 45 degree angle or flat setting and is quiet except for #3 setting (a lot of air moving). Fan didn’t get even get warm after running 6+ hours. 5 STARS

For something as simple as a specialty fan, this product makes me very happy!! I have gone through countless fans both large and small, this one is the best!! I have used the fan for multiple applications so far including: drying my basement concrete floor, drying my garage floor after mopping, and drying the carpet after using the carpet steamer!!! I own a dog and use my carpet shampooer continually and this fan dries the carpet in record time!!! I also have a garage floor with an epoxy coating over the concrete which I am always mopping to have a showroom appearance. This fan is great for these applications. It has multiple speeds along with the ability to plug additional items in the daisy chain. The power that this fan puts out is crazy!! In my photo, I have the cord held in place with zip ties. The fan has four notches on the top to wrap the cord around. The cord is extremely long which pretty much eliminates the need for extension cords while using. I can't say enough positive about this fan. I would strongly recommend!!

The Ridgid Air Mover is a great choice in high volume air movement fans. The air mover sets up easy, has a nice long cord, and can accept up to two more additional fans in series or "Daisy-Chain." The air mover has a built in circuit breaker so that the amperage capacity is not exceeded. The air mover is heavy enough so that it remains stationary on high speed, yet light enough to be easily portable. The air mover has three speeds that each move a good volume of air.

This unit is great for so many things; yes it does a great job of drying out carpets and wet floors but can also do so many other things. What you get in the box; A very nicely styled and well designed floor fan. The fan has three speeds and can be daisy chained for a total of 3 fans. This also has the benefit of being used as an extension cord for smaller power tools thru its own outlet. The fan has a twenty foot power cord that makes placing the unit where you want it very easy. These are great fans for drying floors and flooded rooms but they also have a few other uses. They do a great job of drying out tents and any other camping gear that gets wet. Plus, they also are great to test houses and RV's for air leaks since they produce almost no pressure but massive air volumes. I have used fans like this to find roof and window leaks in RV's for years. Once the fan is connected to an RV's window or door thru a duct, you can use a window to regulate the pressure and volume. Then with a garden sprayer filled with soapy water, spray an area to find almost any leak on the outside of an RV. It’s the same way that leaks in tires are found. For a house, the fan is used to create a small vacuum inside a house. It's easy to walk around and find air leaks with a wet hand or a soft feather and test for air leaks around doors, windows and electrical outlets. You can feel the air making the water on your hand cool as it evaporates and see the feather move when you drop it past a leaking area. For the amount of air this fan moves it is reasonably quiet. A great fan that can do multiple jobs from cooling to drying.

I ordered the Ridged blower for many jobs from drying floor to keep airborn mold from forming in a large room. Good quality design heavy duty feel and powerful flow And now use it to refresh and blow heat out of my rv flipping project Has nice long cord and 120 socket. For additional units. Great for warehouses, churches, constrction. And commercial kitchens or household kitchen. As I used it to clear a smoke filled room cleared the room vary fast From burned food

If you need a lot of air moved in an area for drying floors, walls, or any large area, this brute moves a LOT of air. It has three positions, to dry the floor, wall, or at a 45 degree angle. A 25 foot cord and two built in extension sockets in case you need to daisy chain additional tools or fans. The units can stack two high, and has three speeds while still running quietly. I had some flooding in my basement and a simple fan would have taken a week of run time. This blower is a force multiplier regardless of the speed you run it at.

This air mover is very powerful and well made. I have had good experience with the Rigid brand in the past so I expect that this tool will be in use in my business for many years. The air mover can be placed in three different positions (see photos) depending on what surface you are trying to dry or vent. It might seem like a small thing but it has a place to wrap the cord when you are not using it and it makes transporting and storage much easier. It has 3 speeds and two grounded outlets on the case. We will be demoing drywall on a project soon and this air mover will help exhaust dust out of the work area.

Haven't used the fan yet but it seems very robust and sturdy. My problem is that it was obviously used and returned. There was some mud on the bottom. So, someone probably bought it to dry out their basement or something and then returned it. I don't know how many hours are on this "new" fan. Home Depot should not be selling used items as new.

The blower has been very helpful in so many ways , makes my work area a whole lot easier to function

In the Texas heat it’s a must have! These move a lot of air. They seem to keep the houses I work on substantially cooler making my days more productive.

Dried my flooded carpet in hardly any time at all. I purchased 2 of these for my basement family room that is 24'x30'. I had one at each end pointing towards each other and they dried the entire room of carpet in less than 24 hours!

I have 5 Rigid blowers .

I bought this to ventilate my basement, which has some dirt floor yet. It is powerful. It is reasonably quiet. It is effective. It performs better than I expected. This is my second "Rigid" product. The other is a shop vac. I will be buying more Rigid products in the future. Count on it.

Works great moves some air!

This is the first air mover I've ever bought so I don't really have anything to compare it to but so far I'm really pleased with it.
