Having chronic back issues, I have been unable to shovel or rake. I have resumed both activities thanks to the ergonomic, adjustable, handle attachment. I also ordered one for my husband. I saw these on a home improvement/garden show, and is a must have!

GREAT FUNCTIONAL DESIGN; WORKS ON ANYTHING WITH A HANDLE!
HAVE IT ON MY SNOW SHOVEL (BOUGHT AT THE SAME TIME AT HD- A VERY NICE ONE). EASY TO PUT ON, EASY TO ADJUST, EASY TO PUT ON OTHER TOOLS WITH HANDLES; SAVES THE BACK FOR THIS OLD DUDE!

OK for the price
I broke the first one, but, couldn't find anything better. The base of the handle is the weak point, and that is where it's the thinnest. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Needs to be beefed up and made solid at that point. I like the smooth handle and edges. It keeps the snagging down to a manageable level. Overall, I'd say it's fine for light duty use, but, not for heavy duty.

Best Money ever spent
I have owned this just over a year. An Ergonomic type snow shovel is Great, But when you add this Handle to it, Makes it incredible! I just finished shoveling my 120 ft driveway and around our cars after an 8" snowfall as quick and effortless as the Neighbor with there small Kubota Tractor. Yes its still a good workout, but virtually effortless on the back, chest, muscles. I don't know why I haven't had one Before. I Farm also and use this to scoop grain or on a broom or leaf rake. Very Versatile!! I am going to invest in another.

Really well made product
I'm using the Pro handle on a stainless steel metal detecting scoop that I use for traveling. It supports lots of weight and doesn't seem to bend or twist under a strain. This tool definitely makes the lifting of the scoop much more convenient, especially when in the water.

Wow - What a Difference!
I picked up the ProHandle a few weeks ago. I was a little skeptical but have been amazed at the difference it makes; NO Lower Back Strain! Whether I'm mopping or gardening, this is my new favorite tool. I'm already thinking of my friends and family that suffer from back pain - - guess what they're getting for Christmas!?

Breaks Too Easy
I received this as a gift and was excited to use it cause I have a bad lower back. Worked awesome the first time but snapped off during the second use. The hardware store replaced the broken product and was used real carefully this season. However, the handle snapped off today at the exact same spot (where the handle meets the adjustable connection mounted on the shovel handle). The concept is great but the material cannot handle the slightest bit of downward pressure which you'll have when shovelling heavy snow. If you get one then make sure you use it with kidd gloves or it will snap off too.

Suggested by my therapist, as I needed help due to injurd hand
Because of a hand injury my therapist suggested I explore various garden tool products. I found PROHANDLE on Home Depot's website and purchased it.
Have used it on my rake, hoe, broom, indoor mop and other handled work tools. I contacted the manufacturer a to its use with a shovel and pitch fork.
I was told the shovel which could be used with the PROHANDLE was Home Depot's fiberglass handle shovel. Since I must use a shovel often, and my 12 year old shovel has about had it, I decided to purchase the fiberglass handle shovel.
I would recommend the PROHANDLE to anyone, whether they have any physical limitations or not.

The most versatile and durable product I've ever purchased
I've owned my pro handle for 15 years, snow shovels have come and gone but I just keep on putting my pro handle on a new shovel. I was going to buy a new pro handle many times but I never had to. The way its going ill be able to leave it to my son for many more years To come. The best accessory I've ever purchased.

Haven't had it very long
I haven't had it long enough to know if it is durable but it seems to work as described. Easy to install and and nice that it folds for storage.
We did notice that when using it on a shovel it is hard to turn the shovel over to empty it.
Might work better on a push broom.

Good design
This product served it's purpose of taking the strain off my back when mopping. I did, however, have to find a piece of foam to put between my mop handle and the device as my handle was too small for the device to properly tighten against.

ProHandle Quality Product
I don't usually respond quickly to products seen on shows but ProHandle caught my attention and I have not been disappointed. Response from ProHandle has been excellent. My son has a small company and put the ProHandle to use on our gas weed eaters, the adjustable handle made the jobs so much easier. The ProHandle is a quality made product and cost of ordering three was still much less than cost of a replacement handle from the manufacture of our weed eaters.

My back loves this handle!!! Aaahhhh
This product is advertised mainly for use with shovels, hoes, rakes and the like. I put this puppy on my gas string trimmer and it makes the job so much easier and faster because my back is not cramped and I have so much more control over guidance of the trimmer head!

Truly a back saver
Just had the opportunity to try it while clearing my two car driveway and sidewalks of a heavy 3-inch snow. Being able to avoid the bending saved my fragile lower back from any strain. If you have to disassmble the ProHandle to mount it (there is a D-handle on the end or your shovel), I suggest you first tighten all the screws to "set" the nuts. Then separate the two parts. When assembling, start the screws gently until you get a bite on the nuts.

Good value for the price
ProHandle is easy to fit to a mop handle, and the adjustments are easy to manipulate. The grip is large enough to fit comfortably in the user's hand, but not so large as to be unwieldy for a woman to use. Overall, I was very happy with this product's performance. It did take some of the stress off of my back, while mopping, since I was able to better maintain an upright posture.

Best Product for Women!
I bought this tool to assist me in my gardening. I am a young mother with a bad back and this makes cleaning (sweeping/mopping) and gardening enjoyable again! My neighbor has taken hold of my pro handle and I'm not sure I will ever get it back! I love my Pro Handle!

ProHandle - wow !
I bought one on a whim - now my wife and I fight over it. I use it outside for leaves, snow, digging, etc., she uses it inside for sweeping, mopping, etc.
We liked it so much I had to buy another !
