The instructions are deplorable and the fit and finish is not the best! I would have expected better, but for the price-you get what you pay for!!

We ordered this bookcase head board in Espresso for our King sized bed. We wanted something to eliminate the need for night stands and that wouldnt need to be connected to our bed frame. This head board works great. We did have some issues however. In our first initial delivery we recieved two H8 boards instead of an H8 and an H9 which prevented us from completing the assembly. We called Prepac and they apologized for the inconvenience and shipped us the correct piece but it did take an additional week which was unfortunate. The other negative is that the directions arent as thorough as they should be. Anyways we finally completed it and we adore it. It's exactly what we wanted.

The headboard was exactly what I was looking for. However, the instructions were awful. Nothing was labeled, so I was counting holes to make sure I had the right piece that the directions were saying to use. We had to take a couple pieces apart and do it again because it was on wrong. Otherwise the product is good. It’s a cheaper material but we had a tight budget. One piece did arrive damaged on delivery. I contacted Home Depot and they contacted the company. After a week, nothing. I called Home Depot again and they put in another request and said they’d email me a new shipping confirmation for the replacement part. Another week went by and I had heard nothing. I contacted the headboard company and they said it had already shipped and Home Depot should have sent the shipping confirmation. Well 4 weeks later, and I finally have the headboard installed.

If I had not had help it would have been very difficult. 1 piece came in damaged but they shipped the replacement piece right away. It does look just like the picture. The headboard does not attatch to the frame but thats ok with me. I really like the entire set. I purchased the headboard, 2 nightstands and the platform bed.

delivery was ahead of schedule and was in good shape upon arrival. easy to put together, but there were two of us. the color looks great and if feels very solid. having a little thicker backing would be a good improvement even though it would be a little heavier. i have had it about 3 weeks . it met all my expectations. i have ordered matching night stands that should be here in a couple of days. this is the fourth or fifth product i have ordered from home depot for home deliver and it has worked very well.

Missing pieces. Called and they mailed, no problem 2 parts had 1- holes drilled on the wrong side and one with no holes for plastic dollies. For the price not too bad.

After having to send it back because of an obvious, large chip, I found that the headboard did not fit well with the bed it was supposed to match. Also I am disappointed in the quality fo the material (cheap particle board).

This headboard was very easy to assemble! Very nice looking!

Easy to assemble and looks nice, but no way to attach to the matching bed.

We really like it but my credit card was charged twice......

Solid bookcase headboard; came flatpacked & easy to put together - no issues.

Looks great! Reasonable cost

Doesn't not fit the bed it's supposed to match with. It leaves a gap that your children can then lose their toys down (... on purpose). My husband was able to form a piece of MDF to sort of match and block the space, but these pieces DO NOT fit together.

The twin white headboard we bought is really good. The book case is convenient for the small electronics and other little things.

I had to drill holes in one of the boards that was shipped without any holes drilled......good thing I had the tools and knowledge to do so.

Husband put it together with no frustration.

Multiple Boxes and Very heavy.. Took 1/2 day to put together. But it is very nice.

This headboard is absolutely beautiful. It's dark and rich in color. It arrived 4 days sooner than projected. A little tricky to put together only because reference to picture assembly, the pieces are not marked. My husband layed out all the pieces on the floor and could see how it went together and proceeded. It took him about 3 hours to fully assemble it.

easy to assemble but our remote bed made it too short and the pillows hid it , my son added a pedestal to elevate it, then he added strip lights. GREAT
