This is one of the quietest compressors I've used. Takes a while to fill but once its full it has lots of volume and pressure available

Nice compressor. works as advertised. Runs my Air tools like no tomorrow. The only drawback I found was that the handles could be a little longer, as the machine is a little heavy, and not that well balanced, which makes it a tad unwieldy when trying to move it.

Good machine, quiet produces plenty of air for me. I use a lot of air tools and am constantly blowing off saw dust off my projects. I would definately recommend this machine. The only issue I had was the box must had dropped or tipped over because oil had leaked on the cardboard and the oil level was low.

Wish I had put that money into repairing the old HUSHY COMPRESSOR. The new compressor was suppose to be the same Model as the old one. The old compressor was MADE IN USA. The new compressor was made in MEXICO. Need not say any more.

Much quiter than oilless compressors I've had in the past! Among the best compressors in it's price range. Was sluggish and would blow the breaker during hot restarts on an unloaded 15 amp circuit, So I ran a new 20 amp circuit, and now it always restarts without hesitation(wanted a 20amp outlet in the garage anyways for other tools). It's the perfect garage/shop compressor. Perfect for my main air tools....impact guns and grinders, but also keeps up well with my HVLP paint gun well too. Only annoying thing is the drain is a knarled screw that's hard to grab under the tank, will probably replace this next time I get out to the hardware store.

Very powerfull, and once is full, it take as little as 90 second to fill back to 150 PSI after use. I used it extensivley in my home shop for every thing needed with air tools. I have been using it every day for the last two weeks. Need almost a dedicated 20A line. Very well made, excellent desighn, Twin power motor makes it nice to have, lots of pressure and oil lubricated twin pump is vey quite. I should had this compressor a long time,and quit messing around with oiless compressors as I did for years. For the serious DIY home shop, this is the only way to go.

pump appears very well constructed!but for the size of the pump and the 33 gallon tank it takes a long time to reach cut off pressure and recover from cut in time to cut off times

I needed a 30 gallon air compressor so after searching the web i bought a Husky (VT6315) at a great price but after performing the break in the motor started to knock so it was returned and i bought this Powermate and what a difference in quality,this is quieter and easier to move and the belt cage isn't plastic.The tires are pneumatic not hard plastic or hard rubber and the tank is aluminum so it cuts down on weight and rust concerns.The delivery was excellent and the unit was not damaged but i would have like the driver to take the pallet and the container back but that's a small inconvenience as long as you have a truck and dump permit.Over all the extra money spent was worth the quality of the machine and it has a 2 year warranty!

I've been researching similar products for some time and customer reviews are an important part of my decision to purchase this compressor.My last compressor was a powermate and lasted nearly 18 years. It's a shame the comparable "in store" product (Husky VT6315) has suffered recent quality issues and one must pay an additional $100 shipping for the preferrable Powermate.

An excellent value. Has all the features needed for air tools. Quiet operation is a plus. The cast iron compressor should last a long time.

If you are looking for a great compressor at a great price, you can't go wrong with this Powermate 30. I have only owned it for about two weeks and couldn't be more pleased with the overall performance, appearance and quality of this unit. It is everything I wanted in a compressor; portable, quiet, fast pump up and designed to last for many years. I use it to power air nailers, sanders, paint gun and air rachets. It does great !

have only used it a few times but it seems solid and not as noisy as i thought the tank takes longer to fill up then what i thought also but i like it so far.

This is a surprisingly well-made, quiet, simple and effective compressor. I got it on sale for a very good price, so I hate to complain. But the the black T-handle doo-dad you see in the pictures at the very bottom-middle...is missing on mine. All I have is a tiny, hard-to-grasp and turn knurled brass sleeve from which the handle probably broke before packing. I found no little bits in the packaging. And the lack of a decent handle is a pain when it comes time to drain the tank. Otherwise. I have no complaints.

The compressor appears adequate to the service for which it is advertised; easy to switch over to 240. Cons: cheap construction; handles for moving are too short; bottom drain is inaccessible; belt/pulleys not properly aligned upon delivery.

I was thinking about the 60gal unit, but really didn't want something that was a 'permanent' fixture. My space is limited. This unit is doing well. It is a bit noisier than I expected, but definitely an improvement over the pancake compressor. I would prefer an easier access to the release valve at the bottom. I have to get down on hands and knees to get at the valve.

This unit is awsome! I can spray any thing I may need in cabinetry. The make air is as fast as discribed; The 30 gal. tank covers all bases. I used a $5000 unit before. This unit does all that unit did and it is transportable.
