This chain was sharp on my stilhl saw, then when dull I used the chain sharpening device that came with and it is still dull. Tried several times to sharpen to no avail, followed instructions to a tee. I have another unit for my sears chainsaw and that one worked great. Not the one for my stihl.

Would not work on my Steil Chainsaw, I went to a Steil Distributer to get replacements and they said others had also complained that they did not work. The chain is too too large for the groove in the bar and will not move freely.

The reference guide was not even close to correct. In fact, none of the “off brand” replacement blades are a correct fit.

It is like cutting thru butter with a hot knife

This is the second one of these I've purchased. They fit my McCullough 16" electric chainsaw and work just as expected. I have no cons to report.

This said it would fit my Stihl chainsaw but it doesn't fit into the bar - it's too wide to fit - I returned it.

Perfect fit for my Mcculloch electric chainsaw! Cuts like a hot knife through butter

Although it states on package it fits a Stihl MS 171 saw (amongst others) it is too thick to fit into slot of chainsaw bar. This chain is .050 and bar requires .043. Returned it without issue and drove 30 minutes to Stihl dealer and got correct chains.

I noticed that 3 of the 4 chains in stock had been opened. Should have thought they were likely returned. Chain said it would fit Stihl saw but when I tried to install, would not fit into the bar slot. Chain too thick for Stihl bars. Drove to Stihl retailer next day and he remarked that I was second

Great price and easy installation. None of that would matter if it won’t cut wood, it cuts as well as the original Sthil with minimal stretch, I will buy this item again without hesitation.

The chain did not fit my chain saw but on the back it said it would. The chain would not fit the bar.

The chain went dull after like 5 cut

Did not fit Stihl ms170 as it said it would. It is .050 gauge not .043 gauge.

Chain indicated that it fit my saw, it did not. Wasted time, wasted energy.

Great blade works as expected

It shiw that it works in my chain saw and it didnt fit just a waist of time going to purches it and had to resturned back

Did not fit my Echo MS170 as it claimed. Will have to return, complete waste of my time. I will buy American from now on.

horrible, does not fit stihl bars, guess thats what you get when i says, made in china. home depot is becoming the walmart of home improvement. this was the only brand out of 3 in the store that carries a replacement for stihl, one of the top chainsaw companies you would think home dump would carry better quality and a bigger selection in the store. big let down, and this isnt the first time. lowes is starting to look better and better.

Had to sharpen out of the box and every 5 mins after... horrible replacement chain.

Typically I have my chains cut and made at a shop, but needed one late one night and this one did the job.

This sawchain fit my saw well and has remained sharp thru some heavy cutting.
