Ok, so I bought mine in 1998 for my second deck build. What a relief not to drive 1000 3' nails by hand on the first deck! The second deck 1998, using this FR350 was over 3000 3' ring shanks at 80psi into treated pine-shaaaazam!! Since then, it's built thousand of fence line board foot, at home, framing the man cave, Mom's 3000 nail deck and soon 2021, a thousand nailer of ring shank deck for the daughter. By the way still using the 3gal PC compressor too! Never rebuilt and always oiled using SuperLube's air tool pneumatic lubricant. I been blessed by Dad handing down his Porter Cable brad nailers too.

I bought this for a kitchen remodel. I was attracted to the product due to Porter Cable's reputation for quality and durability. Since purchasing, I have shot about 1000 nails through the nailer and it's worked without a hiccup. The depth-of-set feature works well and the nailer has no problem shooting a 3" nail into southern yellow pine. My only complaint is the edge of the trigger is sharp plastic and by the end of the first day of use, the edge of my finger was cut and bleeding. A rounded edge would solve the issue. That aside, I wouldn't change a thing about the tool. As an aside, I would definitely recommend hearing protections, as it's very loud!

I needed a compressor that is quick, lightweight for portability, and most importantly can do the job - mostly nailers/staplers and air for various inflation jobs. All this with a small profile for minimal storage. This compressor fills all the boxes. At ~32 lbs its not a struggle to carry it up 3 flights of stairs and the handle is conveniently located to minimize bumping into your leg. The compressor reaches its max 150 PSI pressure in only a few mins and recharges quickly. It is small enough that it fits conveniently into my small car trunk leaving adequate room for additional tools and my tool box. Also small enough to occupy minimum storage space in the garage. At $99.00 at Home Depot (Compressor only), this machine is reasonably priced considering it packs a big punch. Only ran it for a few weeks, no negatives as yet, except it is relatively noisy, especially indoors.

Bought this combination set to do a privacy fence project and it worked really good. No complaints from me!

So far so good. Great price for the compressor, two guns, a stapler, air hose and all the couplers, you need. It helped me put together 3 above ground garden beds in the time it normally takes me to do one. It drove the nails perfectly. I am so happy with it. I hope it lasts a long time. I use it to make projects here and there, and am not a pro who uses it constantly, so I can't attest to its staying power. But it seems to be a good quality.

Bought this too replace the one I have had for about 10 years has not changed much so I expecte it too give me a long life the add on tools seem too be a great addition the stapler will be handy for some jobs I have

This is a good deal for the whole package but I'm not sure about the overall quality of the all the components. I've had it for about 2 years now and the stapler broke within a few days of use for a few hours each. When I opened it up to take a look at why it broke, it was a cheap plastic part of the assembly. Fortunately I've been a lot luckier with the compressor and nailers so far. I've used the compressor about once a week for lighter duty nailing without issue. The nailers get used intermittently. I've been surprised how often connections at once has been useful. For the price I would say this kit is worth it, but don't expect it to be bulletproof.

In the sense that I bought this as a kit, it's very well worth the money, however the build quality of the actual nail guns would need a second look, the 16-Gauge gun fell literally from a bottom shelf (max 6 inches off the ground) onto a laminate floor and is totally unusable now (hammer guide at an angle, won't fire), when I went to the store to look for other options another gentleman had exactly the same problem, we both used the tool no more than 3 hours when this came up so, they are crafter's tools, if I'm a weekend DIYer and this happened, imagine a person who works professionally in this field, that said overall as a package and if it's your first pneumatic kit it is a good deal when on sale but be super careful with the tools, now for me...the replacement tool I will buy from another company. PS I've since created a drawer for the tools so that they safely lay outside of danger waiting on my DW replacement :-)

Neat little set. Replacement for a 35 year old V-Twin 30cfm compressor I gave to my son. There is nothing like having the right tool for the job. Don't need such a beast anymore so bought this set to get the finish air nailers and staple gun. And have the ability to air up tires or blow something off too. Aired up the Silverado's and the Outback's tires effortlessly for the first task. Can't wait to try it out building a lawn shed with a framing nailer I will get next. Or nailing up interior trim with the finish nailers supplied.

I purchased this air compressor w/nail, brad and staple guns from Home Depot about 10 months ago. I used it to help me build a 300’ board on board fence. I used the nail gun with 2” nails to tack the pickets to the stringers before screwing them in. Each picket used 6 nails and there were approx 1000 pickets. So about 6000 nails over a one month period. It worked flawlessly ever time, and I only had one nail jam. Key is to purchase Husky Air Compressor Tool Oil and put a few drops into the hose connection of your nail gun every day that you use it. When you work outdoors, go heavy on the oil, but note!! The excess oil will blow out of the top vent on the first few shots. When working indoors, use a little less oil and wrap an old T-shirt around the gun vent, or you’ll blow oil all over your nice drywall. Also, tip and drain water out of the compressor every time you’re done with it. All that said, I’ve used it on many more occasions for tires. Works perfectly. Very happy with the purchase.

I’m currently remodeling my entire home. Yes the tank is a little loud however it fills up quickly and lasts long if you’re doing small jobs. Havent needed to use the nail guns that were included yet. Bought a separate framing nailer to reframe my restroom. Works great with this compressor. The nailerni bought didnt come with a fitting. Thankfully i was able to use the fitting from one of the nailers this combo came with. Light weight, easy to move around. Hose is good lenght but power cord is a tab short for my preference. Nothing an extension cord couldnt fix

I purchased this combo set about a month to build me a shed. So far I have been pleasantly please with the framing gun. I never used a nail gun ever I was a bit apprehensive about it at first but after my first nail I can't stop. The manual is very vague for a newby I had to write to Porter-Cable to explain a couple of things. I began using the framing gun to frame out my shed floor, walls, and I have used it to attach my T1-11 plywood siding. I've had one nail jam. The use of the compressor is pretty simple but adjusting the air pressure is a bit tricky there are no indicators on the dial and you have to spend a nail to get it to set the correct air pressure. Example I used the framer gun at 75 psi to attach the 2x4s I went down to 65 psi to do the TI-11 siding. The gauge read 65 psi but when I shot a couple of nails it fell to 40 psi and that is when I got the nail jam. However after figuring out these little tweaks I have been nailing away no air pressure lost or nail jams. Love it. However I have no idea what I am going to do with the other nailers (Brad-Finish-Stapler). The price and the manual are the reasons for the 4 stars.

I bought this for my husband and he was very pleasantly surprised. He has now fixed all the loose boards on our deck , put up crown molding and cant wait to take on more projects. It comes with a 16 and 18 gauge nailer and stapler. It has everything you need to get your projects done. No jamming. Exceptional quality

Very quiet for a air compressor, and it keeps up with me while building doghouses, using a framing and large roofing nailer, and doesn't dance around like ones in the past

Well worth the money!!! Items work well in this combo set and air compressor has minimal run time when using nailers. Used it to frame in new egress window in basement, install new door trim, baseboards and beadboard in kitchen. Have had NO issues with any nailers jamming or malfunctioning!! Absolutely love this set!!!!

I just got this a couple of weeks ago and already love this thing! I cant wait to use it for more projects! Its light weight enough for me to lug up into my attic and the longer hose made it easier to work in tight places without having to move the tank. Excellent pressure and quick loading time. Easy to load the staples and the I can already tell that the open channel for putting in staples will make it easy to clear jams if they happen, or if the staples separate from the bar they are in. So far no Cons and only Pros but I have only used the stapler tool so far. Will be using the brads to install a bunch of baseboard next.

This is a great little all round unit. I was installing some decorative boards on the ceiling under a deck. The complete package was on special and it is preforming very well.

Excellent value! Used a "built-in bookshelves" project as my excuse to purchase this new tool ... :-). I was able to finish in less than half the time it would have taken with the old trusty hammer, and no dents in the wood!!

This is the 2nd one I have purchased. The first I used for a for a year and ended up giving it away to my good neighbor. What do you give a gal who has everything. I have used this on small, around the house projects, bee hives, qtr. round, book shelves, trim, bicycle and auto tire pump, storage boxes, etc.

I bought this a month ago and had to yse it heavily rught out of the box. Straight from the store i drove to a worksite and installed 500 Sq ft of pallet wood wall with the 16 gauge and then some hobby projects and finish trim work with the 18. Overall great quality, weight, performance and reliability first use and continuous work. Very satisfied.

This is a great price for all that you get. The unit works great and is easy to set up and use. You'll want to buy more nails right away, as you only get about 50 or so for each gun. But so far I have been able to install baseboards and fasten slide out drawers with this unit. The pressure is right where it needs to be and has a large range. I am very happy with it.

Super useful and too good a deal to pass up, so I bought it and I am glad I did. I could not resist buying this combo kit because the price was too good to pass. I was in need of a new compressor and compared to my 10 plus year old pancake compressor this Porter-Cable is light as a feather and quiet compared to my old one. I also like the dual pressure gauges. One for the tank, one for the tool pressure. I will use the 16 gauge finish nail gun for most of my work but the other gun and stapler will come in handy for certain projects. I have used them all and they work great. I have installed trim in four rooms, doors, windows, and floor mold trim and the guns have not jammed once. I think this was a great purchase and recommend it for any professional or homeowner. The included air hose is a good multi use length but I was bummed that the kit no longer includes the gun belt hanger that is shown in all the ads and images. Can't complain about that for only $199.00.
