Easy to install. Looks GREAT!!!! Worth every penny.

We purchased these Fireplace Doors a couple of months ago while contractors were building a Great Room addition onto our house. The fireplace in the room was being built brick-by-brick by a stone mason, and the main contractor asked us to go out and find and buy some doors so they could be custom installed during the stoning. We had no idea what to choose, and looked around at numerous fireplace shops in our area. The prices we found were outrageous, there were long delays for delivery, and we didn't see anything we really loved. We prefer a "rustic" look, and most of the doors we saw were too plain or too modern looking. We finally chose this one from Home Depot online (sight unseen!) because the photos looked like our style, the reviews were good and the price was a third of anything else we saw that was even close to our taste. WE ARE SO HAPPY WITH THESE DOORS NOW!!! Our contractor who installed them was really impressed with our choice, and said he would now recommend these doors to all his future clients. We've had many roaring fires since the room was finished, and the doors work perfectly. They seem solid and well made. Everyone comments on how great they look. Highly recommend!

The door looks great and it is of a very good quality. My contractor was impressed by the quality of it while installing it. The installation was very easy and it only took 20-30 mins (2 men were installing it).

This is a high quality unit with bifold doors that can lay flat when opened, and mesh screen doors behind that. It looks beautiful once installed. The only problem was with the installation. It must be attached to lintel on top, and I had to make adjustments myself, as standard attachment pieces were too short for my fireplace.

The photos online do not do this justice. It’s not only beautiful but extremely heavy too. It came much quicker than expected and was packaged ver secure.

The fireplace doors are very heavy and extremely well made. Everything is a perfect fit and the doors and latches work smoothly. Installation is relatively quick and easy. These doors are a perfect upgrade to our bedroom fireplace.

Well made. Looks great. Our old screen slid in a track and was always hanging up. This one hinges and stays shut with magnets.Glass doors also close nice. Only one fire so far and some what of a windy night. There was no smoke in the room. I had to modify the mounts slightly to fit our odd opening. No big deal. Order the correct size.

Very happy with our new fireplace doors. They look great. Well made and comparable to doors twice the price. Only issue was the damper control knob came off. Pleasant hearth customer service was very good and immediately sent me a new knob along with new clips to keep the one screen door on .

Overall very happy with this fireplace door. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is the price. Seemed a little high to me, but I did purchase it and have not regrets. Assembly was not too bad. Definitely helps if you have a second person holding it in place while attaching it to the brick.

Doors arrived last night, very fast shipping from order to receipt. Packaging : this product is very well packed and unless it is very abused during shipping I cannot imagine there ever being any damage, very impressed, looks like packaging was actually designed to protect the product not just make it fit the box, 10 out of 10. Doors out of packing : the doors are heavy, not flimsy like some and the build quality seems very good. First appearance is very good - again 10 out 10 Instructions and installation : Instructions are reasonably clear and easy to follow. Installation was easy, from opening the box to clearing away all packing and sitting down was about an hour. Doors went in easy with a little fiddling and look good. Really improve the look of the brick fireplace. 9 out of 10 One upgrade I would have liked : Our brick fireplace is not a smooth finish (like most brick fireplaces I am sure) and as such there are some small gaps between the door frame and the brick work. It would be nice if the manufacturer put some type of flexible heat proof seal for such an occurrence. We bought the doors to try and help seal the fireplace drafts when there is no fire, we still have drafts from these small unsealed areas.......but it is an improvement over what we had before. All in all highly recommended and worth the money

Very pleased with these doors. Very high quality and they feel more solid and "heavy duty" than I expected. I don't think I have ever seen a product packed as well and thoroughly as this. Relatively easy to install although the directions are not very clear. The glass doors can be removed by lifting them off their hinges. This makes installation much easier but this was never mentioned in the directions. Luckily I discovered this by accident. It looks great and has made a dramatic difference to my living room.

Very nice. Well made. Would of given 5 stars but there was some damage on both front doors. The paint was chipped off and you could see we're some one took a black maker that didn't match and tried to cover it up. Other than that would of been completely satisfied.

Very nice doors but not easy too install in a less than normal opening. Couldn't find a phone number to call for advise when standard instructions did not apply to my install. Had to be shipped twice as first doors were broken.

After the manufacturer promptly sent me a replacement door which arrived damaged, I am satisfied with the fireplace door and how it looks in my living room.
