This is a great fireplace door. We removed an old glass screen, painted our fireplace and inserted this door back. It’s very well made and was very easy to install. I would recommend this style of door over freestanding screens for anyone with young children. You lose the risk of it falling over.

It was easy to put together and looks great.

Had previously bought the medium size and it proved to be too small for the opening. Returning it to Home Depot was easy with no hassle. I then reordered the large once. The large size fit perfectly and looks great against the red brick of the fireplace. The only thing that was lacking for me was not enough insulation came with the product. I ordered a ceramic insulation blanket and stuffed it between the brick facade and frame of the screen. It works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my old doors with these about two weeks ago... The installation was quite an easy job, with well machined hardware, and simple to follow instructions. The construction of these doors is very impressive to say the least, especially at such a price point. After putting off replacing my old doors, and burning several fires since installing the new ones, I must say that my only regret is not to have done it sooner. I have shopped several other brands, and these are well beyond the quality and function of any others that I have seen elsewhere at any price.

The fireplace doors look very nice and function well however I had to use a bracket from the previous doors in order to latch it to the back of the fireplace brick/lentil but overall it’s a very nice unit

Looks great. I used the alternative installation method and had to drill holes in the lintel. Unfortunately the thread cutting screws included in the installation hardware were poor quality. They stripped when I tried to drive them into the lintel. Thus, four stars.

Adjustable bracket needs to be able to close to 3 inches, which is the size of most tindles. The fact that the bracket was too wide made installation much more difficult than it should have been. That said, the doors look amazing!

Product was very well packed to guard against damage and was well built, but unfortunately after it was unpacked and assembled, I found out it was too small for fireplace opening. I returned it and got credit for it. (Which was hassle free and quick!) This was for my 2nd home which I won't be returning to until the end of November, which I'll order the larger size to be delivered to the Kitty Hawk, NC store, just in time for the fireplace season. Hopefully I'll be able to write a better review at that time.

Looks GREAT! Easy to install and added a very classy look to our outdated fireplace. Definitely recommend buying an extra roll of the insulating tape for around the edges! No smoke or drafts at all once I put the extra tape in. The insulation that comes with it is the bare minimum so if you have ANY irregularities in your fireplace frame (From the brick, stone etc,) you're going to need more.

Product is well-made and a great addition to our recently upgraded, former formal living room. Now it’s a techno-friendly haven for ourselves and our school-age grandchildren. However, the screws that came with it were the wrong size so I took off a star.

Easy to install, appears well made, great looking. We are very pleased with this fireplace door, it is exactly what I hoped it would be.
