Good doors. Only regret is they could have been longer.

in-line instructions were great. Could use longer heavy duty screws where attached to wall.

I ordered these doors to put in my den leading into the kitchen for privacy...While I was ordering from Home depot on the phone, I convinced an employee to purchase these also. I have a set in my bathroom separating my private toilet area. I love them, thanks for having them at such low price....

The doors themselves were just as I expected; sanded smooth and ready to finish. The hinges on the other hand left a lot to be desired. They do not have enough force to fully close the doors when opened. This will need to be fixed.

Doors look fine but It supposed to self retractable every time we open But it doesn't Did not serve the cause

This is exactly what we were looking for. Took the stain great and looks awesome.

Description of door and opening needed was not clear. On line services did not have the answer and I had to contact the store. Example was the state that the doors are 24" and comes as pair. It did not tell you that they were two 12" panels. I spent a lot of valuable time researching this and had to reorder the doors for the correct opening. Also the first order went to two different places, hardware went o one place and door panels went some where else. The store where the panels were shipped to could not ship therm to me and so I had to do a reorder causing delay in my project.. After all of that it was approximately 2 hours on the phone and a trip to my local store for return and refund.

Picture on website of doors was not accurate. Top of doors from manufacture come with either a sloping up to the center of the hung doors or, a sloping down to to the center of the hung doors. They work and look fine either way. I based my purchase on the picture on the website. Home Depot needs to make sure that the picture matches the item being sent to customer.

These café doors were much richer looking than I had anticipated. Very well balanced and the installation instructions and hardware make it a simple diy project. I am sticking with this brand for the rest of my project as I trust it for quality completely.

Ordered this cafe door for divider between powder room/laundry room combo. Had to spend extra $19. for qt of paint to touch up hits & misses by door maker. Got the paint & paint color maker recommended, but it did not match. The doors were easy to install by one person as they are very light-weight. The final look is OK at best, for my laundry room.

Very good café doors. Good finish, all parts included for hanging. No problems encountered, especially for a 82 year old installer.

Using them in the doorway between the kitchen and dining room. The red paint on them went on easy and looks great. Highly recommend these doors. Stay open if needed and close automatically.

I had Cafe Doors already but they were old and needed to be replaced. I ordered these and I love them. They were really easy to install. I do suggest pre-drilled holes for the hinges. The only thing that I was disappointed about was both of my doors, the wood was cracked through the middle of the door so I had to send them back and order new ones. Still waiting for the new ones to come in.

Shipping was very fast and the doors look wonderful in my bathroom. They were exactly what I needed to add some privacy.

For the price this is a bargain. The quality of construction and the grade of wood was very good. The instructions are minimal but not difficult at all if you know your way around a drill and a screw driver. I'm a perfectionist so here are a few caveats: 1. Before painting, sand the louvers, they're not as 'finished' as the border trim. I learned the hard way. Did a quick sanding before, but after spraying two coats i grimaced and went in and sanded down the grain burrs until they were smooth. This may not be a problem with the painted white louvers but it is with the unfinished. You'll know which slats need the most work. 2. It will take a bit of finagling to have the doors line up so they'll close together after swinging. You can do this by adjusting the screws on the door side bottom hinges. You'll see a curved slot for adjusting. 3. I've read a few comments about the 'cheap plastic' on the door hinges. The plastic is actually nylon and used as a 'bearing' surface. Without it the doors would squeak and jam.

This product was just as described. The only problem was our door frame was not level (older home). Which caused the doors not to fit correctly. But with some adjustments..now works great.

Husband and I installed in about an hour. B sure to pre drill screw holes. Ended up flat on back on floor reaching up w screw gun to mount bottom brackets worked best. Found out my door jamb wastnt completely level but don't think others will notice. Needed to give cats access to laundry room food bowls without letting everyone clearly see into the room. Perfect solution.

The lock open feature requires the door to open beyond the fully open position which requires a spacer on the door jam if you want to mount the door in the center of the opening so that the door does not strike the jam before reaching the lock open position.

Doors are well made, somewhat sturdy, all necessary hardware was included. My only suggestion is that the written directions could be several, several fonts larger. Shipment arrived earlier than expected which was great.

My only complaint is that there was a wood glue spot on one door that was not visible until I applied stain. I used paint to match/cover it and it is not even noticeable. We did not use the included hinges but upgraded to a hinge made for heavier usage. Overall...a good buy.

These doors look great. Installed easily, stained nicely and work well. Was expecting some imperfections in the wood but was very much surprised with the quality. They are also very functional. Would definitely recommend these as a cheaper alternative to solid oak.

I was very surprised and delighted with the way the pine cafe doors were shipped. I half expected them to have a few dents because pine is soft and shipping can be rough. They were shipped in double cardboard and were not damaged at all!! The material was all clear pine and beautiful. I couldn't ask for a better pair of doors. My only small suggestion would be for more precise installation instructions. I found that on the internet. All in all I am very happy with the entire transaction.

Not 42" high. Only 41 3/8" high. Not 1 1/8" thick. Only 1 1/16" thick. Needs final sanding. Some of the louvers are bent and/or warped. Plastic hinges. Very disappointing. Shipping was prompt and there was no damage in transit.

Was greatly impressed with the quality of these cafe doors, especially for the price. The only suggestion I would make is that the hinges not be plastic....they are not strong enough for the door...we purchased some different hinges for it.

Only suggestion would be th have the hardware holes pre-drilled.
