Have looked everywhere for replacements heat lamps for our Thermador stove hood, and finally found them at Home Depot. Was very surprised at the price and delivery. Came free shipping in two days! They are perfect!!!

Have not used it yet, but compared it to an IR heat lamp (of unknown wattage) and this incandescent bulb put out a comparable amount of heat, so I think this will work well for me. It seems much less fragile than an IR heat lamp, which is the main reason for getting it. No idea how long it will really last though.

Needed for chicken house during cold winter...Warmed enough for chickens to sun bath in it!

Light, heats. Okay do far; time will tell on lifetime.

Light generated sufficient heat, plus appears to be more durable than the previous bulb I had (important since light and fan share a common fixture).

Not much heat derived from the bulb; there is some, but not much more than a standard incandescent bulb.
