Bought this to vent my pellet stove , fits together snug and tight, no smoke leaked out of the seams. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it doesn't come in black, we sprayed it with black heat paint which worked for us. This pipe is better then the ones they sell at Lowe's, theirs fit very lose and smoke leaks out of them no matter how much you seal it.

Simpson Dura Vent pellet pipe is the best out there, and is easy to assemble. Double walled so you can put it near walls etc. High quality and very expensive, but ordering through Home Depot saved almost half from other prices I had seen.

Got to the height I wanted in one solid piece. Fit perfectly the the duravent vent kit in just a few minutes I finished my install

Bought the 3" pellet stove pipe kit along with a 45 degree piece. I sealed all joints before connecting, applied to female part per instructions. Upon first fire there was a heavy odor of smoke. at next fire I used a flashlight and found the seam at the angle of the 45 piece was leaking bad. Well, I continued to find leaks at every seam and from flange on cleanout tee as well as the cap. Needless to say, its been a joke. ready to tear out and get a different brand.

I assembled this pipe with great care, I applied high heat silicon to all of my joints and applied 3M high heat foil tape to all of my joints which you can buy from amazon. Guess what allowed everything to dry and some of them still leaked!! Not all but some, I do not want to smell smoke in my house don't know why they build this product if it leaks? I find out later they make a "Pro" series pipe it has a high temp silicon o-ring, I cut out all of my existing pipe and am currently re-installing this better stuff, much money spent on this system...hundreds of dollars due to substandard high dollar garbage Duravent should be ashamed to sell this crap!

Vent pipe works great and looks good. Lost a star because pipes were dented on the ends. I had to round them out a little with pliers before they would fit together. I had a hard time finding the 5’ lengths and HD had the best price.

I made the mistake of getting another brand of flue pipe. I ordered the Dura Vent pipe online from Home Depot and it assembled with tight and solid fitting joints. I ended up throwing the other brand into my metal salvage pile.

cheap packing, end flap open. pipe fell out and end is bent! there was no packing around pipes.this was my first eorder and might be our last. you should try doing things right!!!!!
