I have an awesome, gourmet kitchen with multiple ovens and I love to cook large meals....about twice a year, (slight exaggeration). The rest of the time I want healthy, fast and easy meals. I wanted an oven that was good looking enough to leave out all of the time, small enough not to crowd my counter space and that would cook reliably. This oven fits my needs and I am very happy with my purchase. The oven is different from the traditional. The light used for cooking is blindingly bright. It also flashes a lot and is disturbing. The cooking temperature scale varies from the norm. There is no broiler setting. The oven does not generate heat like a regular toaster oven and coupled with its low profile I can safely use this oven without moving it out from under the overhead cabinet. The controls are very easy to use. Food does not cook more quickly than in other ovens but toast does. I always select a temp one increment higher than a recipe calls for. Nothing has ever burned, (amazing), and everything I've cooked in the oven has tasted good. I love this toaster oven and I use it everyday.

Have only used this toaster oven for making toast, warming up my frozen bagels, and a slice of frozen pizza. Does all this well while taking up a small footprint on my counter. Tech support was good answering my questions and noting that the directions could be better regarding the power button which does not go off automatically (you turn it off). Also the cord should come out of the back-- I route mine under the front and around the left side to the socket on my backsplash. One more thing-- if you set the timer for the half minute, the .5 is smaller and, consequently looks strange. I'm glad oven rack is attached to the door.

I don't do many reviews--but since our Under-cabinet mount toaster of many years quit I haven't found one that I liked. This one is great! I really like the full functions and simplicity of use. I have toast every morning--all I have to do is press "ON" and "TOAST" and I have perfect toast every time. Afterwards, I press "OFF" and know it won't continue heating. Toasting is always spot-on. The side of toast towards the back does get slighly darker than the front, but not enough to matter. If you prefer lighter/darker toast you can change setting easily. I have also cooked frozen pizza with another one-touch button that was perfect; and baked corn-bread in small cast-iron skillett with manual temperature setting (even though the footprint is smaller than most toaster-ovens). I really like the "On-Off" button to make sure the power is OFF when we leave (small red LED indicates when power is on). Oven is bright when heating (see pic) but not as blinding as this pic seems--you can see the food as it cooks. In addition to being convenient, it increases safety as it is impossible for oven to be heating and one not know it (if you are in the room that is).

This toaster is very good, so far. Although I’ve only toasted English muffins and bread in it. Doesn’t take up too much counter space and it’s easy to clean.

Awesome toaster oven. I love it.

We’ve only begun using the toaster oven but we’re very happy with the toasting results. The appearance is what attracted me as we had just remodeled the kitchen and decorated with white quartz counter tops and white cabinets. Guests have commented about how nice it looks.

What a great purchase! I love this toaster oven. One of its best features is that it toasts both sides of the bread equally. It toasts quickly...love that. It also bakes/cooks nicely. Best feature..it’s small, but can still toast 4 slices of bread. Easy to clean.

The technology for this appliance is fantastic, but the application is substandard compared to other Infrared Ovens I have used. It is very limited in what it thinks you should cook, and the tiny size matches those expectations. The opening would fit an normal toaster oven tray, but the inside walls narrow, thus making sure that only the included tray will fit. I am only able to cook foods that are flat and small. I hope somebody else learns how to make one of these ovens and does a better job, so I can replace this tiny thing.

controls are very odd can't set temp to 350 or 375 only 339 or 385. doesn't bake evenly.Timer is limited.

I have had the previous version of this toaster oven for 14 yrs. Yes, since 2004. It still works. In fact I am replacing my 14 yr old one with the same model as my college junior son is taking it to school with him to his first apt. I don't bake in it, so to me it is not a replacement oven as some toaster ovens are. To me it is a replacement microwave. It heats and cooks super fast because of the infrared light bars that do the cooking. Like a grown up's easy bake oven except better. It toasts in 2.5 mins and you can adjust the time and darkness from that. It crisps up left over fried chicken in 6 minutes. Super fast. It is small which I like. I think that is part of it cooking faster. I ordered a more expensive popular brand toaster oven that was bigger and more digital and beautiful and kit took 6.5 minutes to cook a piece of toast. After 6.5 minutes, it was more like a crouton than toast. I ended up returning the pretty one and purchasing the same Panasonic Flash that my son was taking away as my new replacement. I just get a new one and my son gets the old one. I would love to have a pretty oven that I can roast a chicken in or bake a full size pizza in but this one doesn't do that. It is amazing at what it does do and you cannot beat an appliance that has lasted 14 yrs and is still going, especially after being used by two teenage boys and me multiple times everyday. If only it was prettier...

Small footprint, works well. Toast is evenly toasted, and cocktail franks in puff pastry came out perfectly cooked.

The Panasonic is the best toaster oven!!! Even toasting, settings for frozen and regular bread, and easy to use!

My daughter recommended I buy this toaster oven. And she was right its the best toaster oven I have ever used. Everything browns and cooks evenly. If I ever had to buy a toaster oven again it would be this one. I would rate this as excellent. There is nothing like it on the market

I have never used this type of oven before (infrared). I am very pleased with how it works. It is also very compact.

Like this toaster oven a lot. Much smaller than our previous model and controls are easy to use and make it easy to keep the same setting from one use to another. Light is a nice feature, allows you to monitor the progrsss of your toasting.

I loved this toaster oven right out of the box (it's adorable), but I waited a couple of months before I writing a review to see how I liked using it. I still love it. The best part is that it's FAST! It toasts twice as fast as our upright toaster (so we got rid of that). It cooks evenly and quickly. Great for heating up pizza and leftovers. I used to use the microwave for reheating, but the FlashXpress is so quick, I can use it instead - and I like the way it reheats better. I've baked brownies in a 9x9 cake pan and cooked baked "french fry" potatoes in very little time. It's great for cooking the kid's chicken nuggets. I haven't figured out all the presets yet, but the toast and the bake settings have worked well for me to cook everything. The size is non-traditional, but I love that it takes up less space on the counter and the inside is plenty big, just a different shape. Some may not like the way it looks, but I think it's adorable. I would highly recommend it.
