The plastic showed up right on time and in perfect condition. I used it to custom form protective mud panels for my UTV. It performed just as it was supposed to.

Not good for heat applications.
I left a review earlier that this material worked great for an aftermarket car audio fuse rack however after some use the material melted due to engine and or being under arizona summer sun. I know that most fabricators use PVC for fuse racks with no issue, however this material being FOAM PVC and not solid PVC may be the issue.

This PVC sheet is a good quality with a fine finish. The finished side is covered with a fine sheet of plastic sheet to protect it from scratches. I am using this PVC sheet on my CNC Router. The material cuts well using both a .0625 and a .125 end mill. I am cutting at a slow speed and low RPM to avoid burning. I have been cutting some Christmas ornaments

18 INCH X 24 INCH X 0.118 INCH FORM PVC RED SHEET I'm anxious to decorate this Foam PVC Sheet. This is a beautiful, very vivid color. I can see how it will bring any craft or hobby project to life. It is light weight and can be used so many different ways. It will be great for any interior decorations or home improvements. This sheet can be very easily cut using conventional tools. I believe my electric tool, similar to a scroll saw, will cut this like butter. You can also glue with any adhesive that is suitable to use with PVC. I have used E-6000 and Gorilla Glue on some projects made from PVC. This comes in a large variety of colors and sizes. Palight is a name you can count on. I would recommend this PVC Foam Red Sheet to everyone. I guarantee you will love the vivid colors they come in. I especially like the light-weight of this product. If you would like to see more colors and read more information go to; The Home Depot and key model # 156243.

Corvette Red! The product itself is a great product with many uses and is very strong material. My wife makes handbags at home for craft sales. She cut pieces to fit in the bottom of the bag to give them support. I have red, black and yellow so she can use for different fabric. not that color matters since it lays in the bottom of bag. I attached some photos and one shows how thick all three pieces are. That is my little finger, which is slightly larger than all three pieces together. One side comes covered in a plastic film to keep it scratch free. The colors are very vivid and look like Corvette car colors. If you are going to make some children's furniture, this would be great to use as a top cover since it is waterproof. You can scratch it with your finger nail, so be careful what you use it for.

This foam PVC sheet is really interesting stuff. It's great for projects where you need something that is easy to cut, but stronger than foam core poster board. I have a document scanner with a plastic out-feed paper tray that broke. I've been unable to think of a way to replace the curved out-feed tray. This foam PVC sheet has worked out great. I was able to easily cut it to size with a utility knife, and simply place it under the document scanner to serve as the out-feed tray. I'm going to test using a heat gun to warm the PVC sheet enough to give it a slight curve, similar to the original paper tray. This is a really great product for small projects, fixes, and crafts. Neat stuff!

This foam PVC board is great for all kind of craft projects. We used it for a valentine decor. Cutting was a bit more tricky than I originally thought it would be. Using a scroll saw would be best. We also used an exact knife which took much longer to cut. The scroll saw with a fine tooth blade left the best edge clean edge. This foam PVC board has many color options to choose from. This red is a good standard red color.

This is a great handy sheet that could be used for all sorts of creative purposes. Its pretty sturdy and durable. Foam PVC is easy to work with and many glues will work with it. The blue is very vibrant and doesn't rub off, although it will eventually fade if you leave it outside. I used this sheet to make a piece of "artwork" from an old computer hard drive I had taken apart. I arranged all the components of the old hard drive on the sheet to hang on my wall. It looks great.

OH MY you can do SO Much with this PVC Foam, Use it as you would a piece of wood panel. here are some ideas you can use this PVC for: -Panel Cover -Hobby projects -Cosmetic Mending -Scrap book type projects -"picture" holder then mount to your wall - etc.seems endless -I got this PVC foam for a hobby project just for fun, well it is NOT Foam so it was not quite going to work, This is actually a plastic board, soo i decided to build a bridge with it. sort of see pics. -I also cut strips to mend an RC Car's body Frame that is starting to crack. even though I will eventually have to replace the body frame but at least the PVC Foam will make it last a bit longer before a complete replacement will be needed. -you can cut the PVS Foam with a good pair of scissor but making curves is difficult. - I recommend using a hobby Knife, Box Cutter. or anything similar to a razor to do your cutting with for more precision. Also a Jigsaw either bench or hand held will cut the PVC nicely - you can use a pencil and lightly draw your cut lines. a pencil allows you to erase the marks if you need to make corrections. DO NOT press anything too hard onto the PVC unless you want to make an impression because it will leave a mark or scratch on the board. -the PVC is slightly bendable but if you bend it too much it will snap into two. -i used liquid nails (all i had) to glue the pieces together but I am sure elmo's glue or any plastic or modeling glue would work just fine.

The Palight Project PVC Foam sheet is a 12" square flat board. The sheet seems to me to be a nice combination between PVC and Foam. It is light weight but yet firm and flexible. At first I did feel that it's uses for projects seemed limited to objects with only straight lines. A utility knife and a ruler worked well for that, the foam/PVC board cut nicely with a ruler and utility knife. I wanted to try more so my Wife helped me trace 2 paper sharks that she had drawn and cut out. I tried using a sharp pair of scissors to cut the board but was not able to cut very far into the board and could not cut the bends. I then tried using the utility knife with a scrap piece of wood under the board and first scored the foam/PVC board. After several times cutting the same points, I was able to create both sharks. It took about 1 1/2 hours to complete both sharks. See pictures to show the sharks and the scape material.

WOW, what a value! perhaps it's not cost-efficient for someone using it on a large-scale, but for the typical hobbyist like me, it's unbeatable! At roughly 1/8"/3mm thick, it will take you approximately 5 cuts to get through with an x-acto blade, so in comparison to other materials I've used, it's very effortless and quick. If you do not have to be so accurate and decide to use a regular razor, perhaps this can be done with even fewer cuts. It can be glued with a wide variety of glues and bonds very strong. However be weary of using something with a very low viscosity, as this material is porous and will possibly take lots of glue to get the job done. I typically use rubber cement for seen/finished surfaces, but for something structural/unseen like this super glue is perfect. I used the gel type. The material paints very easily, to my surprise, and looks great finished. Speaking of paint, if you cannot find the color you are looking for amongst the variety, then the gray color perfectly resembles the color of primer. As a result, you may not have to do so. As shown, it's VERY flexible. I thought it would break when bent. You may be able to further heat it if needed, but I did not need to for my purposes.

This 12' x 12' PVC foam sheet is perfect for my needs. It is rigid enough that it makes a great foundation to build on and display photos on the wall in my den. In this application I am using it full-size and pairing with a 12' x 12' cork tile. Alone the cork does not have the rigidity I need and would curl or warp over time. The foam gives the added advantage of taking glues and adhesives well so that I can easily attach hangers on the back. This is the second wall display I have made with this foam and am well pleased with both.

Palight Project PVC 12 in. x 12 in. x 0.118 in. Foam PVC Black Sheet review I bought this piece of black fiberglass to make a sign for our kitchen and I think this will work perfectly! *It feels very durable *It arrived perfectly packaged without any signs of damage—no dents or scratches, etc *Great size *Very shiny finish *Inexpensive Cons *It has writing on the back which doesn't look very good, so it is only really for one-sided use I definitely recommend this product! 4 out of 5 stars

I'm using this product to give some backup to the side of a SS sink which has a tinny sound to try to deaden that tinny-nis. Used PVC cement and it seems to hold and I was able to cut it to the exact size I needed to attach it to the side of the sink body under the counter. I can see many other uses for this product especially in the hobby and craft project area. It cuts well with Exacto knife and I feel limited only by my imagination...

I got a chance to try out a sheet of the Palight Project PVC 12 in. x 12 in. x 0.118 in. Foam PVC Black Sheet (Model # 156238). Although I'm a long-time DIY'er, I've never worked with PVC sheet material before. My 4x4 has a dimpled surface in the middle of the dashboard, which prevents mounting my GPS there. Even using one of those GPS-to-dashboard "sticks to everything" disks wouldn't help because there's not enough surface area on the disk adhesive to get a grip on the dimples. I cut an 8" x 8" piece out of the Palight PVC using a box cutter knife. Cutting with the box cutter did require quite a bit of pressure and multiple cuts (I used a right-angle square to guide the cutter, see photo) but I got a nice, clean cut when the cutter finally broke through. To ensure straight edges, after the cut was made I put the PVC on a bench sander, giving each side a quick sanding to make sure each side was straight. To get a good amount of surface area adhesion while, at the same time, keeping the job easy to remove in case it didn't work out I used multiple 3m Command Strips (see photo). These offer a really low profile and, in the quantity I used, offer a fair amount of surface area. Contact cement or other adhesive may have worked as well, but I know from experience that the Command Strips will release from the dashboard without damaging it if I change my mind. The Palight material adhered well to the Command Strips and, once the PVC sheet was pressed into position, it stuck nicely to the dashboard. I attempted to mount the suction cup of the GPS to the PVC - and failed miserably. While the PVC feels as smooth as glass, it obviously isn't - enough air seeped in to lose the suction needed to hold the GPS. At that point I mounted one of the GPS "sticks-to-anything" disks that would not stick to the dashboard dimples. Since the Palight PVC offers a much smoother surface than the dashboard, the disk stuck right in place. After that I mounted the GPS to the disk and I now have it mounted where I want it, in the middle of the dash. The PVC is easy to work with, very light, seems strong for its thickness, and I'll be ordering a few more sheets in to have in the shop inventory. Good stuff! HTH Regards, Jim

We have both white and red sheets. My daughter uses it to make shapes and letters on her scroll saw for different art projects. Its semi flexible and cuts very well with a scroll saw. It can also be scored and snapped for straight cuts. Regular scissors don't work very well for cutting though. It glues down very well with hot clue and standard craft glue. Its PVC so its very water resistant. The red is deep with minimal light transmission.

I am a DYI, therefore 90% chance I do NOT use such products as intended and or traditionally! I bent / bowed this product as hard as I could, it did not give any indication of cracking or breaking. It immediately return to a nice flat piece. Feels like plastic (PVC). One side of the product is glossy, smooth, shinny, reflects color however, scratches extremely easily. The opposite side is smooth and a little shinny, but a kind of fine sandstone surface, attractive. Edges of product can be easily warped, bent, crushed (damaged). Both sides can be easily indented by anything remotely hard such as a fingernail (see photos). NOTE: Black shows more wear / damage than light colors. Glossy side shows fingerprints fairly easily, sandstone side not so much, fairly resistant. No odor. ***Can not stand up to any heat, see photos. 4 seconds of Bic lighter did serious damage, no odor while or after burn test. Heat will alter this product negatively. Apologies unable to cold test this product. Cleaned with white vinegar and water, cleans nicely. Water retardant. Was able to cut this sheet with a standard razor blade with effort, (see photos) therefore a box cutter or recommended cutting tool would make cutting easy.

This product is softer than your normal plexiglass. It's easy to cut as well. It can be cut with an oscillating saw, plexiglass cutter and even scissors. I used the oscillating saw to make the cuts tor wine glass and the bottle. The 12x12 sheet could be used for just about anything from what i just did and creating a frame to put it in and put a light behind it. There are several colors you can choose from, They could probably be used for decorations in the wall or even a background.

The PVC sheet is light and strong with a decent finish. My initial test of the product was to use it on my leather ottoman as a tray for a hot bowl of soup. Worked perfectly. Supported the soup and protected the leather. Its current home is the base of an outdoor potted plant. The metal rusted thru the top of a metal base from watering. We placed the PVC sheet at the top of the metal stand underneath a ceramic planter. The planter is not light, but the PVC sheet has no trouble supporting the weight with no sagging. I like PVC products because they are easy to use, cut easily and last a long time. I would definitely use this product again as I come across other challenges where this product could help.

Similar to Lexan or Plexiglass for hobby/craft/DIY! I'm so glad to see this material available at Home Depot! I coach a robotics team and in this case, we used it to mount our controller board onto our robot in a convenient, accessible location. The PVC foam was easy to cut in a bandsaw and holds a nice edge. One side comes protected with an adhesive film, similar to how Lexan or Plexiglass is sold -- but only on one side. It's thickness and density is similar to PVC pipe- don't let the word "foam" fool you - it's similar to Lexan, but not quite as dense. I tested it for electrical conductivity and couldn't read any conductivity on my ohmmeter. Drilling, cutting and dremel-tool operations were all pretty easy. I prefer this material to thin plywood because it doesn't splinter or loose chuncks of material like wood grain. We will be using this material again, and I'm glad it comes in different colors!

This 12" x 12" Foam PVC Sheet was not something I would have gone looking for, but when I saw it realized that it might be great for a photo I was trying to mount. The fact that it is a dense and fairly rigid foam allowed me to glue it to a 12" x 12" cork sheet, then glue on the photo and attach hangars. I used Loctite 60 second Universal Glue (also from Home Depot) and all bonded well together. Hangars were attached with glue and screws. I cut the screws from 1/4" screws and they held well. I like this product and will probably get more, in other colors, for future photos. I gave me a quick and attractive mount with some depth and interest at a fraction of the cost of conventional framing materials.

Nice pvc foam, Carves really nice once you get the speed/feed ratio down. I thought I would try carving a simple design in it and for the most part cut nicely. Would make a great foam for any kind of craft project I think. Takes spray paint pretty good. At almost a quarter inch thick it is a pretty sturdy material. Cuts nicely with regular wood working tools. I just wish it was readily available in larger sizes at the local stores.

Got the pvc sheet fast and right off the packaging you can see that the sheet looks great. I really like the Matte finish and the thickness of it. I got this by my desk since I often take pictures of checks and when the background is black its best to do it, I also take pictures of documents and with the black background my phone scans it best. Of course there are other uses for it but for now it looks great on my desk.

This sheet is very thick and sturdy. It does not bend so if you needs something flexible do not puchase this. This sheet can be used for a variety of art, school or home projects. It can be cut with a very sharp pocket knife and some arm strength. It is smooth and had a shine on one side. I do think that the sheets are a bit pricy considering there are other items that can do almost the same thing.

It wasn’t rigid enough for my job. If you don’t need rigidity then this product may be fine for you. I was repairing a Samsung refrigerator flex drawer handle bracket that had cracked in just over 2 years. Fixed it with epoxy instead. FYI, Samsung has gone way downhill.
