Customer Reviews for Painter's Mate Green 1.41 in. x 60 yds. Masking Tape

I started using this Painter's Mate tape over a year ago, and like the value when pitted against the blue. I ended up ordering online since the local stores here don't carry it, and wanted another $2 more for their normally stocked rolls. My style of painting is to use the tape twice. When I take it off the wall, I re-roll it back onto the roll, then when I need it again, I tape the wall using the clear side against the painting edge. Works for me.

Our school purchased a case of these rolls to tape announcements and other things to our hallways. The tape sticks to laminated pages but not to the paint in our hallways. There is not enough adhesion. The price was right for our school, compared to the 3x more expensive name brand, but the quality is lacking.

Love this tape.....Would stock up on it if I could find a wholesaler.........

I’ve used this tape to paint around windows & doors, on walls between ceilings & floors, and it always results in perfect straight edges with almost no edge bleeds, tape residue, or tearing. I’ve always applied the tape as firmly as possible to ensure paint doesn’t seep under. It also came in useful to apply caulking in a perfect straight line in areas where it would be noticed.

use this tape every winter stays where I put it and comes of clean when spring has sprung. Luv you 3M
