Black spot or something
I purchased these dormant I. The spring.
All 5 have black leaves. It could be the weather.
I’m not sure but none of my other hydrangeas have this issue but they are not smooth they are all panicle

Glad I made the purchase
Now it came dormant but I’ve placed it in my shower window and it’s growing like crazy. Great for the price point. I bought my first one from an expensive garden site it was more than double the price.

Fast growing
Order was well packaged and after watering, it began showing life within the first week Now a month later, theyre fully covered with leaves.

Time will tell
I have purchased from Proven Winner Direct and have been pleased with their plants. The delivery driver put the box on my porch upside down, despite the box being clearly marked. The plants were a little mangled when I unboxed them. I was not all that concerned about the appearance of the plant but was concerned about the weak roots that I saw when I removed the plants from the containers to plant them later that day.

HD asks for a review — but I don’t have anything to say, as it’s only been a couple weeks since I bought this, other than I planted it and it’s still alive. Probably will take a year or two to grown and actually bloom from a 4.5 inch plant. I will update my review then… if I remember!
