This Rose of Sharon is a lovely, healthy plant that I would buy in person. Very pleased.

Delivery was fine. But all flowers cut off. Not what I expected.

I ordered 3 “Rose of Sharon” and they are all very beautiful!

Larger than expected, full with multiple branches and starting to bloom

It’s absolutely gorgeous and my perfect shade of pink! It has grown so well & I am pleasantly surprised!

I cannot wait to see this in bloom this summer. Arrived well packaged and has pushed large amount of new growth in just a couple weeks. Currently being kept inside in heated sunroom. I'm just waiting for last frost to pass before planting in my garden. I ordered both a Pink Chiffon and a Sugar Tip Rose of Sharon. The PC is a much more vigorous grower - at least one I received as it the one on the right in photo.

Just got my 1 Gal. Pink Chiffon Rose of Sharon today, the size is way too small than what I expected.

The two White Chiffon Rose of Sharon I ordered arrived pretty quickly and they were packed very carefully so the plants arrived undamaged and in good shape. I have them planted and can't wait to see them begin to grow!

I ordered this plant for our multiple year project of planting a new border garden along our rear fence. The plant arrived quickly and in top condition, covered with lush green foliage and many buds and even one partly opened flower bud. Because my neighbor decided to replace the back fence on short notice I have not planted the bush yet. I was also waiting for another specimen in deep pink ["Lucy"] from a different vendor, which arrived today. Two years ago we ordered two gallon sized Hibiscus plants in blue chiffon color which are now 5' and 6' tall, and last year they were covered in blue flowers. Last Fall we ordered three more gallon sized Hibiscus: White Chiffon, Lavender Chiffon, and 'Sugar Tip' [light pink] which are now 2 to 3 feet tall and bushy. All these plants were from Proven Winners and ordered on-line from homedepot.com. Almost 2 weeks ago we ordered this bush and another Hibiscus in deep pink [a new color] from a different vendor, partly because I couldn't choose [and this one was not identified as being from Proven Winners on the webpage]. See picture of both new plants [both are supposed to be gallon size and were almost same price]. My advice: buy THIS one! The other one from a 'different' vendor took 5 days to arrive shrink-wrapped and tiny and with completely yellow leaves and no buds. I wish I had ordered TWO of this one instead of one of each! Happy and healthy gardening and stay safe everyone.

I bought this plant after reading the great reviews but mine came so small, I hope it will grow..the only thing was delivered still standing and dirt intact. I'm going to plant it tomorrow and will keep updating. I'm a good customer with homedepot but I think I got cheated.

I ordered two hibiscus from Home Depot: 1 Gal. Pink Chiffon Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus) Live Shrub and 1 Gal. White Chiffon Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus) Live Shrub. Here is what I got (please see pictures - left one is Pink Chiffon Rose, right one is White Chiffon Rose). Question - why would I pay for a gallon plant if I could buy 4.5' size less expensive?? because my Pink Chiffon does not look like 1 gallon at all. The white one is okay.. but I would assume it would have at least leaves on it by April 27, 2020 (which is today)? I thought that the branches might have been damaged during transportation, but as you can see the Pink Chiffon was shipped in the smaller box.. Will not buy online..

It is so beautiful. Full of flowers. It's doing well with heat, too. I was worried because we live in South but it's amazing. I love it.

This Proven Winner Pink Chiffon Rose of Sharon ( Hibiscus ) Shrub has beautiful delicate pink flowers and arrived very healthy with several blooms and multiple buds. We are planning to start it in a container and transplant it later when it matures. It comes with a planting guide which says it can either be a shrub or you can prune it into a small tree. It will provide blooms from early summer through late summer so I will enjoy it from my deck this year. I would order from Proven Winner again!

This one gallon White Chiffon Rose of Sharon arrived in beautiful condition. It came in a tall box, very sturdy and thick carboard box. The plant had white flowers on it and we planted in 2 days later. The flower have fallen off since then, but I am thinking it is still healthy. We have it in a partly sunny area. I really liked that it was already quite tall, so I would say this plant a good value.

This arrived in PERFECT shape, ready to bloom, strong and bright green and buds all over and a few three inch wide white flowers already blooming. It's over 2 feet tall from the box, and over a foot wide! A very nice specimen plant. The roots are wrapped in plastic and then placed in the pot, helping it retain moisture and making it easy to drop into a planting bed. I've gotten plants from mail order before and this is by far the nicest looking plant I've ever gotten via shipping. This is no slouch or twig, it's a full on big plant! Since it arrived in such nice shape I fully expect this to adapt to my yard well and come back year after year. This is even nicer than the ones in the store! Very happy, would recommend.

Proven Winners Pink Chiffon Hibiscus Rose of Sharon. Arrives in a vented box, carefully packaged. Pink Chiffon has the same flower power and soft, graceful stems of other Chiffon varieties, but with large, soft pink flowers. Can become a small tree or you can keep it pruned, will grow 8-12 feet tall, 4-6 feet wide. Blooms early to late summer. Hardiness zones 5-9; I am in zone 7 so I should be good for growing. Attracts butterflies, heat and salt tolerant.

Proven Winners never fails to disappoint. Another beautiful plant arrived, and the condition these things arrive in is always impressive. My shrub is absolutely covered in buds, and even had a few flowers. Arriving in the heat of summer ,it was a little wilted, and there were plenty of buds that had fallen off, but there's probably five still there for every bud that fell. So impressed with the size and quality of these plants. Highly recommend.

WHITE CHIFFON ROSE OF SHARON (HIBISCUS) arrived with 2 white flowers and a bunch of blossoms. the plants about 2 1/2 feet tall or better. the flower's are 3 to 4 inch across and pure white . the plant arrived with planting instructions. the flowers were wilted but with the extreme heat we been having. being in delivery trucks without air it understandable. the WHITE CHIFFON ROSE OF SHARON (HIBISCUS) was keep very moist so i'm not worried at all . after reading the planting instructions we placed the plant by a fence line in are yard . it said they can grow to be 8 ft to 12 ft tall and spreads wide.

I have had The Rose of Sharon in every home garden or now lining my driveway for as long as I have been married. I even dug them up to take to our home in Houma from old home in Harvey Louisiana, to line our driveway here too. And, while at the kitchen window fixing something to eat, I see in season the humming birds feeding off the Blush color Althea flowers with a dark cinnabar center. So when looking in online Home Depot offerings and I saw this 1 Gal. Pink Chiffon Rose of Sharon and I showed my wife, she said look at this great looking pink color of that Althea. I was looking for the right shrub to plant in the long line along the driveway. Seeing the large double pink flower with the maroon/red center we chose it on the spot. We got one in a 1 gallon almost three and a half feet tall, with dark green leaves on each of many branches and just covered in buds with two of the buds flowering open while still in the delivery box. This was a great unexpected surprise as the description read that the plant may be trimmed for shipment from Proven Winners and with out it's leaves. The Home Depot Garden Dept. and the online store too has a super selection of in season and perennials to choose the right one for your home garden too. I am always in the Garden Dept. every time I am in the store and most times I check out there too. I am sure that I can recommend that you shop Home Depot for your garden needs. We are thinking of ordering two of the Proven Winner Blue Chiffon Rose of Sharon next from the online Lawn & Garden Dept. of The Home Depot. Please look at the attached photos.

I received this and it looked pretty sick. I don't know how long it was in transit but a couple of the flowers were dry even though the soil was damp. I have now placed the flower in the garden with a really good mix of mostly compost and the Florida sandy soil. The flower came as a gallon plant but seem to be pretty well established. I think this will grow well and will look great in the garden.

"Proven Winners", Four Star Nurseries and The Hone Depot never sell you unhealthy plants ! This Rose of Sharon, Pink Chiffon Hibiscus is one GREAT lively plant with a bunch of blooms already on it. These plants are quite Deer Resistant, if you live in a rural area ! It grows to 8-12 feet tall and 4-6 feet wide ! They also need sun and well draining soil. We have never been let down by "Proven Winners" plants !!

I planted this during a dry spell where I live and faithfully watered it daily and after a few weeks it began to take hold and bloom again. It is growing well and blooming almost every other day. The blooms are beautiful and the butterflies are lingering around the bush. I enjoy watching the butterflies going to this bush and am pleased with it's growth.

This arrived today, in the usual high grade packaging. This shrub arrived in great condition, with no damage, well hydrated, and carefully packaged to prevent any damage. The box was heavy duty, to prevent the usual problems that could be encountered in the shipping process. It looks simply amazing, and I think the picture will show that is true. You'll be hard pressed to find a nicer shrub at this price point, anywhere else. I am totally elated and as I said, from the picture, you can see how beautiful it is.

Foliage is very health and I hope I have plenty of blooms!

Not very sturdy. Still waiting for some growth. Had it for about a month.t really doesn't meet my expectations I thought I should at least have some new growth by this time.

This hibiscus overwintered, and is coming back this spring happy with result

When I received this plan has only branches, I hope it was the right one I ordered.
