Great Product Easy to Use ..Unroll and Cut to Size Good Price

Poor manufacturing quality. The face sheets were either placed on crooked; and on many roles, the face was really dirty probably from bad rollers that were all dirty from the black inter vapor barrier material. So the outside face looked like it had specks of mold on it. Also, there are no reference guidelines on the face (just a suggestion). Of course all that will be covered up once the drywall goes on, but the point is that Owens Corning (in my opinion) has suboptimal quality control.

As with any kind of insulation, I made sure to wear disposable coveralls, mask and gloves. Easy to roll out, cut using snap-off blade cutter and installed. This product is soft to touch and installs well. Will be buying some again when I finish my next room.

Easy for me to cut into the sizes i needed, but needed to keep my blade sharp.

It was perfect for my knee walls in the guest bedroom . Nice and easy !

This is my first experience working with fiberglass insulation--I used between studs in 2x4 walls. The fiberglass doesn't shed much after it is cut, which was a pleasant surprise. I had suited up with dust mask, goggles, gloves and long sleeves. But, I found if handled gently, it didn't seem to shed at all. So, I just used gloves and did all the cutting outdoors. The insulation held itself in place between the studs, so I didn't have to staple right away. I was able to do the stapling after I did all the cutting and filling the spaces. That was very efficient. I used a pneumatic stapler which is so much better than a manual staple gun. Highly recommend using one.

The insulation was extremely easy to work with. Not a lot of of mess for most work other than cutting small chunks for tight spaces. Looks great!

Worked well. Our builder (Century Communities)failed to insulate the exterior wall sufficiently, causing the water lines to our master batroom to freeze during the extreme cold weather. I packed the wall with additional insulation which has resolved the problem.

Easy to cut and use. Adds warmth to existing walls and attic. Sound dampening capabilities. Great value! (Used to replace insulation when adding an exterior vent)

Had a hallway going into my cellar needed to put insulation up to keep my utility room warm the insulation went up without a hitch and the room is a lot warmer

Used this to fill joists. It was a breeze to install.

The product was fine and installed easily. The big issue was that 5 of the 11 packages purchased were short 1 piece of insulation resulting in me needing to buy additional product. Home Depot stepped up and took care of the issue but repeated emails to Owens Corning have gotten no results. I rate this one star and do not buy due to so many packages being short on product. Look to Johns Manville or another insulation manufacturer for your needs

Buyer Beware!!! Owens Corning says 7 pieces per package. In reality, you may only get 6. I purchased 12 packages this past weekend and ended up returning one and using 11. I had to use 11 because 5 out of the 11 packages were short 1 piece of insulation. That is 45% of the packages I got were short product. You cannot accurately budget with Owens Corning Insulation due to the fact that you will not know how much product is actually in a package until you cut it open. Count on extra trips and money to pick up more to finish your job.

I had read other reviews and bought it anyway. There is a very slight smell of roasted marshmellows. It goes away when you stop moving the product around. Installed it a few weeks back. This is not like the old traditional old school hardcore fiberglass insulation. My wife thanked me for buying something that wouldn't make her itch so bad after touching it.

Performed as expected. Would buy again.

This is a standard product, in use for many years. No need to review it.

Decent quality insulation. Easy to cut and install. The paper tabs on the side could use being a bit wider since not all stars are exactly at 16 inches.

As a guy who has worked with insulation most of my life, I love the fact that I can work with this insulation, without gloves, without getting glass slithers in my hands.

As with all fiber glass insulations, it does the job as advertised. The faced, makes it easier to work with and the the side have that extra inch of faced material to staple to the studs. Once you have the proper tool to cut it, you're in business. RANT: Home Depot won't give the 10% discount to VETS on this item. I thought the whole purpose of a 10% discount to vets was to help out with the costs. Not so at Home Depot. Will I but this item again? Yes but not at Home Depot.

The only r15 for 2x4 walls that I know of.

Easy to install and cut, little to no mess.

Really didn’t know what I was to buy. Was helped by a gentleman that was very courteous and really knew what he was talking about. Took it home. Put it in hopefully it does the job just fine. Insulation was very easy to work with and cut with no mess.
