Customer Reviews for Orbit 3/4 in. PVC-Lock Slide Repair Fitting

The Orbit PVC-Lock product line makes drip irrigation repairs and new installations extremely easy. The only difficultly I encountered was that the product stock was not well maintained (I had to visit several area Home Depots to obtain the fittings I needed) and the sales staff didn't have much knowledge or training on the product.

This worked great, so I didn't have to worry about glue and sealing the joins. The associate was extremely helpful in choosing the parts I needed.

Great to use when you can't fit piping without some expansion. This will allow a quick repair without digging up half the lawn to be able to move some pipes.

This item leaked really bad and would not recommend. Replaced with traditional setup to fix the leak.

That fitting works great when you have to make a repair on an existing pvc water line !!

Sure solves the issue of a quick repair, especially with irrigation valve banks. Time will tell how well it holds up under main line pressure. 11/21

Extraordinary, if you haven't experienced glueless pvc plumbing, this will trip you OUT...! Too easy, skepticism is warranted, but it seems reliable thus far. AND worth the extra cost. Ahem, albeit, was replacing a previous 1 gen of this product push-in type of product, so hopefully better seals in this product 6 years later, Hello China. Anyway, just push on and away you go, variable heights on this particular piece eliminates multiple cuts to level your Sprinkler Controller...who could ask for more with this pvc, sprkinler plumbing godsend..! Thank you God..!

The product leaked heavily even though it was installed correctly. I had to go back and change the PVC the old fashioned way with the primer and cement.

Works as advertised. Used to repair a broken sprinkler pipe, underground, what a lifesaver. Made short work of a job that would have taken much longer.

The Orbit PVC lock slide repair fitting made it so much easier to repair a broken sprinkler pipe. I dug a much smaller hole than the old way when I used slip connectors.

Lifesaver! Greatest invention to quickly stem a geyser created by driving an unluckily placed stake into an even unluckier buried sprinkler water line!
