Works well -- like the clock
This is my third unit. The first lasted 12 years. The second only about a year, then eat batteries every week. Hope this one is as good as my first.

Easy to program
Needed timer to water citrus trees on a regular schedule while we were away from home. This timer fits the bill, was easy to program (directions included were simple but illustrated well and easy to follow). Great purchase.

So far so good. Although I liked it when other timers told me when the next water cycle is starting. This one does not so for example if I have it set every three days and I don’t know where I’m at in the cycle, I can’t figure it out.

I’ve been using this particular 1-port single dial timer for several years. It’s easy to install. I usually get about 1-2 years of constant use before it’s time to purchase a new one.

Buy yearly because they don’t last
Timers do not last longer than one year be warned. I am on my 4th. You can remove and store indoors for the winter but you’ll still be buying one next season. I don’t recommend unless you don’t mind buying one every year.

These are great for light watering. I had two for 6 years. But stupid me did not pull the battery pack out last fall and the batteries corroded the entire units. I liked them good enough to replace with the same thing.
