Great product. Easy to work with.

These Oldcastle blocks are awesome! My 18 year old daughter decided she could make a garden bed after we discovered this system. I am so proud that she planned her 3 ft. wide X 12 ft. long garden planter and virtually completed it independently. I helped with the saw. I highly recommend them! Can’t wait to buy more next year to add to her creation in our garden area. You won’t regret it!

Easiest raised garden ever.

A no brainer for creating a garden bed! 4 x 8 and 18" tall, so no kneeling on the ground. Used rebar to make the blocks sturdy. Love them, made 2.

So easy to use

While constructing a raised vegetable garden for my daughter, I came across these wall blocks from Home Depot. With four notches per side, I was easily able to layout my corners and connect my 2 x 8s in no time. I didn't need to screw any corner posts at all. I just stacked three blocks high, dropped in my lumber and filled the area with top soil. You could secure them with a rebar stake or drive a pressure treated 2 x 2 in the groove to secure them if you so desire, but I didn't find it necessary. The rigidness of the 2 x 8's that I used, keeps them from shifting.

They were pretty heavy but went together easily. I did 3 high so I needed to brace the corners so they didn't lean out. The bed looks great and the plants are flourishing.

I have been using those bricks many years and they are very easy add on extra boxes of different sizes and height and it's a no brainer to install I would highly

Functional for my raised garden a associate referred me to this product and am satisfied for the purpose of the use for my outdoor project quick and easy to place beats having to do the old fashion way of using nails and nailing boards together

My 15-year-old set up our 4 x 8 raised bed for a school project all by herself. Very easy to assemble. They are heavy but manageable. They are brittle so you can't drop them or they can break; hence 4 stars not 5. They've in place about 5 weeks and high wind didn't budge them at all. Great design! At Home Depot, they told us they use them for displays all the time because they are do versatile.

It does a job I need

With cedar boards, this actually worked out better than I'd expected. I was unable to find any raised cedar bed kits locally and decided to try this instead. So far it's holding up (stacked two high) beautifully!

These are perfect to use for the corners/anchors of raised beds gardens. They made for quick & easy assembly! Exactly what my husband and I were looking for. Thanks Home Depot!

It was perfect for my gardening project.

Made building flower beds and a raised garden very easy. I’m very happy with the results!

Look great and very easy to use! The blocks offer a very sturdy base for the boards. It is important to make sure the base blocks are level to start which is the hardest part of the project. After that, it is very easy to assemble. We built a folding screen cover to protect the newly seeded plants from the birds. It fits nicely on top of the inside block corners.

Followed as per the instructions provided in the video and made a perfect raised garden bed!

Easy to install and easy to add on. Wanted a greenhouse style garden that I could use plastic in colder months, and insect netting during the summer. Turned out great! Thanks Home Depot!

Perfect accent for the planter I made

We needed to replace a custom made raised garden bed. When I found these blocks, my husband thought why not give it a try? We used pressure treated lumber because the custom bed, that wasn’t pressure treated....rotted after 5 years. The only issue was, even with level ground....as we added the next layer, things were off. With the top layer it was very noticeable, so we added additional blocks at the top for decorative purposes. I may see if a post cap adds to the finishing. We still need to brace the corners since it slipped out a little, then we will remove the center board. Hopefully then there will be no more slippage. Depending on how it goes this year, we may add on to the raised bed next year.

Loved this block. Building a raised garden during quarantine was the perfect project to keep me occupied.

The blocks made set up a breeze!!

First time on line and utilizing curbside delivery. Checked on line stated 130 Planter Wall Blocks in store. Ordered 60 no problem. Then I get a call they only have 44 planter blocks left. Express my concern that online it stated 130 present in store. They apologized and said they would load the 44 planter blocks for me. I again expressed to them since that was the “last” 44 planter blocks to please don’t load any broken or chipped planter blocks as I will not take them or pay for them. So to not waste time please check the product prior to delivery to curbside. I was pleasantly greeted at the curbside presented my order number and waited. The store was quite busy but my order was rolled out to my truck within 5 minutes. “Mark” asked me to check my planter blocks and all were in great shape. He loaded my truck up as not to dent my truck bed as each block weighed over twenty pounds. Outstanding product and Outstanding Customer Service. They gave me a great start to my day.. Very easy to set up our raised garden bed.

It’s so easy to set up a raised bed using these blocks. I just did a basic box but you could get creative and keep adding. It’s like Lincoln Logs for adults.

Really great way to make a raised bed - we have made another one this year. Blubbery and Rhubarb last year - this year we added one for a veggitable garden.

Can’t give them a 5 yet because I have only had them for a few weeks and don’t know how well they will withstand the test of time and the elements But ! For raised bed gardening, unless you are buying a kit, this is the only way to go. I bought redwood, and had it cut to my specs, then stained them with redwood weatherproofing. I feel my raised beds are stronger and better quality then the prefab kits and better value for the price. Then I mixed my soil with soil amendment. I also used a raised bed kit to compare. The garden is beautiful. Now I am excited to watch it grow!

These planter wall blocks worked so well when making my raised garden bed. It was such an easy way to build the garden bed planter any size you’d like & then having the ability to easily change location. It was much more economical to build than other similar raised garden beds. Highly recommend!

The blocks are very stable and easy to setup the raised bed.. But not all 2inch lumber would fit in it.. i read homedepots advice to use red cedar for growing veggies.. i Bought 200$ worth of wood after cutting i see they wouldnt fit in the blocks.. I had to chisel i little in all coners to make them fit...

This is a easy way for anyone to build or create a raised bed. In my newest build is a 3 block tall structure and 5 ft. Long. This bed is built upon a concrete slab. I wanted to make sure that the bed had a way to drain. Drainage is important, with with this in mind, I placed a few pieces of scrap tile underneath the bottom boards. Then I placed a piece of weed screen inside the box and backed filled with about 3 inches of gravel then lined the box with another weed screen layer. This is so that the soil that I fill the box with won't wash out. Another detail I included, I water proofed the boards so they won't swell, rot out. This will also prevent termites from chewing up wood planks. Later this year I will add another bed in front of this bed but it will be only 2 blocks tall.
