This fan was very easy to install. It looks good; and it is very, very quiet. This style allows one to choose a turtle and light covers to add to it to make the design one's own. I'm so glad we got this model. Operation is very smooth with no pull chain hang-ups.

chose this fan based off appearance and needed a hugger for the bedroom ceiling. fan is extremely quiet and just what we were looking for. the only downside we can complain about is the instructions. we installed other fans before so we had an idea on how to do, this just needed clearer instructions. otherwise, after figuring out what needed to go where and when, it is awesome!

Just purchased a townhome where the main living area is upstairs. The first hot day here I thought I was going to die. But when I went downstairs where the A/C controls are it was 68 degrees. WHAT?? Nope something had to change. I went online to Home Depot and found these fans (purchased 2 exactly alike) and had them installed. Made all the difference in the world. They are very quiet, and move the air around perfectly so it is cool up here now.

Along the light fixture I installed, I also installed this ceiling fan myself and alone! Very good instructions and an excellent product. By the way, I am a 72-year old woman! I spend a lot of time and money at Home Depot, a hometown favorite!

The fan is pretty much as described in the product description. It was very easy to assemble and install (note I am not an electrician nor any other construction trade), One person can do it with no trouble. Fan is quiet, and fits well in a small bedroom with 8' ceilings. Great fan for the price.

The fan is exactly what we'd hoped for. It was a great price, fits perfectly in our low-ceiling space, and looks great! We haven't really gotten to try it out yet since it has been cold (which is why I didn't give an Excellent) but looking forward to doing so.

Fan designed perfectly for low ceilings. I was looking for a modern bronze finished fan for 7.5” ceilings. Hugs ceiling very well and looks very sharp. Appears to run quietly.

Overall pretty good. One problem I had was that a fan blade had minor damage. I proceeded to install the fan, assuming the manufacturer could send me a replacement blade. It turns out they can't do that so my only option is to disassemble and return the entire fan. So that's frustrating.

Fan was replacement for older fan. Fan installed by contractor and he had no problems. No excessive fan noise and circulates air well. Would purchase another NuTone Hugger Series 52 in. Indoor White Ceiling Fan.

I'm a little disappointed with the minimal air flow. I thought it would move as much as my other fans.

This fan is not that quiet! A little disappointed about that. It looks as expected.

Missing multiple parts. Called NuTone customer service and they said that they had stopped making any ceiling fans and could not provide any parts or other service. Returned to HD.

Wonderful for the price and it's hansom on the ceiling. Hunter fans are quieter but we needed a huger and have no regrets. Bought one and then two more.

Bought this because of need for fan close to ceiling and Nu-tone rep for quiet. Was one of the best buys we have made in our remodel. Would recommend to anyone, really move lots of air and in a quiet way.

Very pleased with my new fans (2). Easy to install, extremely quiet and have kept rooms quite cool in this recent heat. Would recommend this fan and will be purchasing 2 additional ones.

Doesn't move much air with the 3 blades. The fan blades have Crome fasteners in stead of white. The fan is not bright white. I like it but my wife is not impressed.

The fan was easy to assemble. Like the solid white color.

It's noisy. On high, it has a clicking sound.

I have always been a fan of Nutone products. The fan matched our décor and is perfect for our living room. It is very quiet and does not vibrate. The fan was well priced and the quality is well worth it.

Reluctantly, I'm recommending this product. Reluctantly. We bought this fan as it's perfect for our ceiling height. Love the way it hugs the ceiling. We bought one a few weeks ago. Good for the first week and really, really moves the air. After the first week, the motor started to sound like it was grinding - metal on metal. It was not that noticeable at first, but got louder as the days went on. After several days, it just became unbearable. I went back and read the reviews and it appears to be hit or miss. Some units are quiet. Others sound like two icebergs colliding. We returned the fan to our local Home Depot, got a refund and then I came home and re-ordered (reluctantly) a second fan online of the same make/model. Thankfully, after getting the second one installed - it is again very quiet. No issues and it looks great. But man, what an inconvenience. Uninstall. Return to the store. Wait. Re-order. Wait. Re-install. Hopefully, this second one remains in top shape for years to come.

So far so good. Quiet and effective. Too soon to judge reliability . Motor is very light which concerns me.
