works great, just what we needed - a low profile fan with three speeds in two directions. We purchased the remote control with it but have only used in minimally because we leave the fan on most of the time.

I looked for a hugger fan for a long time that was good quality and this one fit. It's very quiet and a nice nickel tone which I was looking for. It doesn't look cheap like some of the fans I see and the price was right with free shipping from HD. My husband installed it in about 20 minutes. It cools my son's upstairs bedroom very nicely and he doesn't hit his 6'5" head on it!

Replaced this for one that had a lite. I could have probably used the same one, but contractors thot the old one would hang a little low w/lite fixture(I just had the ceiling 'lowered' from 14' to 8') but it would have been o.k. for me. I'm not that tall that my head would be hitting it (my husband is 6'4", tho.) Still...it works for me...no complaints. As I said, it's just a simple ceiling fan and cools well, since I am no longer cooling that extra 6' of space above.

After reading several reviews I decided to buy this fan and I'm happy and pleased with this purchase. The fan runs quietly on low and medium speeds and produces good air circulation at all 3 three speeds. At high speed it does make some noise.

We needed a fan with no light that didn't hang down too far. It is great - runs quietly - looks very nice.

I wanted a nice fan, that didn't have a light kit and Oil Rubbed Bronze. I found this online and ordered. The fan arrived quickly and was just what I was looking for ! I bought three of these fans as part of my basement project. They are a great match since we used bronze finished door knobs, hinges and light fixtures. Installation is quick and easy using the integral hanging fixture. These fans look and work great!

I chose this fan because it being a flush mount. Works great in my low ceiling room.

This is the best fan we've ever had, and we used to live in a house with 11 ceiling fans. If you're looking for a hugger that looks like you paid 10 times more than you did for it, this is the one, and it's quiet and smooth, there's just nothing wrong with it and everything right with it.
