Installation was somewhat difficult but the results were worth the time.

My contractor said it was easy to assemble ad install. It does come in TWO boxes and when I went to pick it up at the store, I was given only one box and had to return a second time to get the second box.

I purchased this awning to help block out some of the sun and heat coming into an east facing window and after installing it I am very happy with the results. The assembly and installation of the awning was pretty simple although you will need a second set of hands to install it. Overall I am very happy with this product.

My awning is up, it looks good, it's sturdy and it works OK. The only real problem I had is the instructions. Parts are clear and make sense, but a few sections cry for detailed diagrams instead of long distance, blurry pictures. A note: if you buy one like mine without the support bars, DON'T skip the section on installing them, as it contains the actual "attach the awning to the house" step. And I ended up using some extra silicone caulking on mine because rain/water seems to collect in parts of the frame.

This canopy was well-made and easy to install. It went so well on the first door I installed one over that I purchased a second. It only took less than a week to receive either one and only a couple of hours to assemble and install. They are a great value for the money!

The door awning is very nice, sturdy and just what we wanted. It was easily put together even though it somehow arrived without any assembly instructions. After some digging on the internet I was able to do find the instructions and copy them. Now that we have the door canopy up we will be buying the ones that match it for the windows.

I purchased this awing from Home Depot online and was very satisfied with the time it took to arrive at my home. It was a bit tricky in putting it together but we had no problems. it's very well constructed and we're very satisfied with it.

Didn't like the length of the awning,the salesman at the store wasn't giving good optons when I was ordering at the store... he made it appear that it was the only one.. slight damage during shipping when I received it.instructions on assembly wasn't clear or understandable...

This awning is far easier to mount and is lighter than the old wood one we took down. Looks great and adds clean lines to the front of the house. Glad we chose this awning to replace the old heavy wood one. Easy to install as well

The 2100 series aluminum door canopy was delivered in a timely manner as promised without any damages. The quality was as I had expected and it was easy to install. The burgundy color I chose matched exactly the color of the external window panels and most important of all it shelters us from the rain.

We had long considered the idea of adding awnings to our home - especially the side door, which my mother, who is a senior citizen, uses most often because of convenience. Well, the convenience has tripled with the installation of this door awning. A family member did the installation quickly and easily - and on a cold day, no less! It has already paid for itself (it was quite affordable), by keeping anyone entering or leaving the house out of the rain. We love it, and are considering a larger one to go over the front entrance, as well.

The instructions are easy to follow. All the holes lined up for the screws.

It looks very nice and we didn't have a problem with installation. We haven't tested it yet in a high wind storm, but it appears very sturdy. The procedure (in store pickup) worked quite well. We got a personal call when our canopy came in and it arrived on the exact day Home Depot said it would. Thanks for a good shopping experience.

It was a little tricky assembling but not all that bad if you took your time. Once assembled it is fairly solid and after you mount it is seems very solid. We are using it for an awning over our kitchen windows and so far we love it.

Our decades-old 10-foot aluminum patio awning collapsed in last year's heavy winter snow. Chose this canopy kit as a low-profile replacement: Pleasing color; modern shape; covers and protects sliding glass door against the elements. We bought the 7-foot kit to cover a 5-foot slider. Perfectly centered and good looking. Pretty fair price. Only reason for less than five stars is our local HD has no installation service for this kit. We are not up to the task and It took us weeks to find a handyman who would agree to do the job. Still took him and a partner two hours due to complex instructions. Manufacturer included very inferior screws which had to be replaced with longer, stronger screws.

Bought this to keep the sun and rain off a West door. Instructions are a little hard to follow, could be better. Actual assembly was easy. A single mounting bar attaches to the house and is easy to level and align. Be sure to caulk the top of the mounting bar. Once the bar is on the house you just lift the awning up and hang it on the bar and screw everything together. One man operation. Delivery to store was quick and easy. The unit seems flimsy until it is completely installed, then it is very sturdy.

This was easy to assemble and I was worried about how it would look, it looks great. Very pleased with the product. The only issue we had- the directions regarding the clips that stick between the slats on the sides, we were unable to put them on one side as they only fit one way..and they were backwards for the opposite side. We wondered if the box contained the wrong parts. It did not describe very well in the directions exactly how these are put in. Other than that it is lightweight, has held up well during storms. Hope it will hold up well to the snow load.

the awning was well pack and free of any damage when it arrived. Easy to assemble as long as the instructions are used. :-) It was awkward to install by myself but it helped using a ladder to support part of it. Well made and looks great with the side wings attached.

Overall positive impression however there several items that required careful consideration during installation.The 6 foot model requires a large flat table for easy assembly. Although easily lifted by one person you need two people to align the awning with the wall mounted track. I added two extra screws to the track to awning joint for extra strength at this joint. A spacer was needed behind the siding where the side pieces attached to siding to distribute the load to the siding underlayment.

This awning looks great up on the house, but the installation was not at all easy. My husband has installed many items over the years but this awning was difficult. It took several hours. If you purchase this awning, you will definitely need two people to install it. That being said, it looks nice on the house and seems as if it has always been there. We bought the gray one and it works very well with our light sage siding.
