I'm returning this rug without even laying it down in the intended room. . . as soon as we started to open the package I realized the pile height was way too thick for my intended use. It's listed at .5" however it's at least 1" or more thick. While it's a nice look, this deep shag won't work for me in my intended rooms.

We have enjoyed this rug for a few weeks now, thick and plush and holds up to the kids in playroom. Also, adds quality look and style.

I bought this rug online and was happy to discover that the color was as true to the picture. The shag is very thick and feels quite luxurious on bare feet. I did have to adjust the vacuum to accommodate the thickness, but it's no problem. The backing is sturdy and the weave has a subtle varied sheen that makes the pile look rich. This is the perfect rug for a classy modern or mid-century look.
