I toiled for such a long time over which runner to buy. I was especially nervous because I'm not one to purchase such a big ticket item without actually seeing it. I wasn't sure how good the quality was although I really loved the pattern. I was absolutely thrilled when I unrolled this carpet runner. It looks absolutely stunning on my staircase which is the first thing you see when you walk into my home. I get a new thrill everytime I walk into my door and see my beautiful staircase. And the quality is top notch. It's so plush and soft and feels amazing. I'm so happy that I chose this runner.

We are very pleased with this rug. It is thick and plush feeling. The ends are finished off nicely. I like that it comes whatever length you need.

There is only one word to describe the look of this carpeting for my stairs: regal. Everyone who comes into our home is awed by the look. I also bought gorgeous brass carpet rods @ HD to be installed: THE EXACT SAME PRODUCT , ONLINE, WITH OTHER VENDORS WAS $53 / ROD. HD PRICE WAS $13/ ROD!!! The colors, beauty, appearance, quality of the carpeting is second - to - none. I am a very careful buyer who shops for a product for YEARS before buying. I looked at hundreds of carpets for over 7 years before I settled with the very economical, yet high quality stair carpeting by HD. The installers were great. The man who does the installation in the Milwaukee area has his own carpet store and really knows a lot about carpets. E.g., he told me to NOT install padding under the landing nor on the floor in front of the stairs because he said the carpet would wear better. ( I bought the same carpet for my floor to put in front of the staircase. This man did not try to sell me something that I did not need and I really appreciated that!.) I appreciate when installers tell me how to better install the product and to clean it - which this man also did. You will go to other stores and NOT find the beauty of these HD carpet runners. Their selection is SO beautiful! My house looks like a photo out of "House Beautiful" with this carpeting on my stairs! I had padding installed under the stairs; the stairs are very cushy and comfortable and very warm in winter. Very soft and warm on bare feet. I have to say that I was taken aback at the quality of this carpeting from a chain store: but I did not find anything i liked more from carpet stores. The price was very reasonable for the beauty and quality. HD also has beautiful area rugs made in Belgium. Their clarity, designs and colors, ease of cleaning and beauty are remarkable. I have checked dozens of stores in the Milwaukee area and have not found any area rugs more beautiful nor more economical than what I see at HD. Their store at Holt avenue has gorgeous rugs of all sizes and designs. I am NOT employed by HD: but I do think that people should know what good products are at good prices because so many places rip off the public. Great quality. Looks wonderful on the stairs. Size was right, but the ends were not square. Had to trim off binding on both ends. Arrived in just a few days. Installed with pad. Installation went well. Staples under the upper tread.

Very good quality and appearance. I like it very much. But the pricing is very high.

This rug is plush and beautiful. I highly recommend it, as it is well worth the money spent.
