They were not bent at the same angle as the original arms so I have one fan whose blades are bent downward (the originals) and one fan whose blades are straighter (closer to the ceiling). I will have to purchase another set of arms just to make the two fans match.

Dear Valued Home Depot Customer, this fan bracket is only compatible with the Nassau fan. In general, ceiling fan blade brackets and blades are not universal and fans should only be operated using the original blades and brackets included with the fan or OEM replacements. Changing fan parts to different fans parts can lead to motor damage and operational issues.

The original blade arms drooped and 3 of them broke in the wind. The replacements appear to be stronger than the originals. Installation only took a few minutes.

I have had this fan for several years and recently replaced the capacitor with one from Amazon due to the extreme pricing by Home Depot/Hampton Bay ($25 a piece/min order 10 ea!!!). The fan has rust although used in a protected cover porch. The sealant used to protect the internal part (where the wires enter the housing) severely shrunk...so much for water proofing. The motor wobbles (not balanced) with the fan blades/arms removes. This explains the severe wobble and useless attempts to balance the fan to stop the warble. The blade arms are not balanced. Upon removal and placed on a flat surface, 3 of 5 were angled differently causing more instability. I am shocked nothing was quality-checked although I paid a very high price for this unit. I am trying to figure a way to salvage unit since there customer service was not that friendly when inquiring about the life-time warranty on the off-center unbalanced motor. Home Depot...plz call

Love this fan but needed blade arm replacement
I bought this fan maybe eight years ago or more. I still looks and runs great, with one exception. After several years the blades started to droop. Am ashamed to admit that some of the cause may have been years of pollen accumulation. Once I cleaned them they sort of popped back up. But as the years went by they started drooping badly. I took the blades off and found that they where still straight. So began to suspect the blade ARMS where the problem. I read another article where someones arms broke! Which added to my theory. I was glad to find that the replacement arms where available at home depot web site. I just installed the new arms and my blades are back in place! No more drooping! We have a low ceiling on our porch so it was actually becoming a hazard to tall people! I did not install the light kit because of this issue. Anyway not sure why the other person has rust problems I live in Nashville TN. and as I said, it still looks great. (especially when I clean it. )

Looking 20 years old
I purchased 3 Hampton Bay 52 inch Nassau ceiling fans less than 2 years ago. They are outside under a covered porch. After one year they started to discolor and looking very old. Now coming up on 2 years they look old and rusty looking. Very disappointed.
