I purchased a 28v SDS PLUS Rotary Hammer Drill W/ Dust Extractor kit because I figured the 28v would be stronger and last longer boy was I wrong I use this on job sites so I wanted to go cordless. These batteries wont last drilling Two 3/4 holes before being completely drained and I have purchased a third battery to always have one charging and they still are dying before I can charge another battery had I had known these wouldn't last I would have def purchased a 18v one with a 12ah battery (28v are only 3.0ah)

I've had a set of Milwaukee 28V cordless tools including circular saw, drill, sawzall etc. In addition I own some 18V Milwaukee tools as well as corded Milwaukee tools and they are the absolute best on the market. I need to replace my very old 28V batteries and wish they were lower priced but the newest M28 battery has lasted well and still puts out incredible power and last very long even after 2 years of use and recharging.

Battery came uncharged.... does not seem to last as long as we expected and suspect that this battery was in inventory too long.

Can't recommend anything on this product, in that it was not shipped with the charger that I ordered. Live Chat closed with an explanation that severe inventory of the M28 Red Lithium XC battery was creating delays. On a more positive note, Home Depot did a great job on delivery of the charger as it arrived the next day after I ordered in the store in Little Rock. Received no information about the cutting of the order and future shipmen t.

Big battery with big power.

We ordered genetic batteries for our tools but they were junk. Stick to Milwaukee brand. More money but quality product. Cant go wrong with Milwaukee products.

The battery seems to work fine, but the Home depot Purchase was not so smooth. First I bought the battery and it was all fine. Two days later I got a reminder from Home Depot that I had 15% off coupon waiting to be used. This of course caused me to order another battery and use the coupon since that battery was $165. Getting 15% was worth repurchasing and then returning the first battery. Seems like I should have been reminded when I made the order the order the first time. This would have saved me and Home Depot time. You had to process a second order and pay for the shipping then you had to process my return. Makes little business sense to me. Thanks

Love the tool lots of power. But the battery don't last long at all and it's really disheartening. Wish I hadn't got the m-28 but there's nothing else with that much power in that size

Lots of power last for hours

Factory new battery. Works well so far on my V28 Tools, with a Milwaukee 3 year warranty. I can't tell the manufacture date.

1V28 pack thats dead 2nd will only take a partial charge then 2 completely useless m18 packs and drill. I don't buy tools based on color but quality just killed my 20 year old 18 volt dewalt sure I've bought batteries for that but at a fraction of the cost of any of the milwaukee 28 or 18 volt packs so disappointed with big reds quality and support.

I wish Milwaukee had a program soucoupe upgrade all of my 28 volts system they don’t sell anymore and change my existing tools for their equivalent in 18 volts, I have bought about 10 batteries so far and they never lasted more than a year each, very frustrating, I have their 12 volts that I use everyday but for extra strength jobs 12 volts are not strong enough, so now I just bought 1 battery and if it lasts only one year again I’ll get on Milwaukee’s case, hopefully their service Representative will read this and contact me with solutions

With a charged battery my Milwaukee Saws-all works great. However, the battery life (Number of charges and calendar time) is very short. In addition, the self discharge rate is very high so you can't depend on a previously charged battery stored in your tool kit to be ready for service. To add insult, the cost of a replacement battery is unreasonably high.
