Works great to trim hedging cedars. Advertised to cut 3/4” branches and it will do that. I mostly cut up to 1/2” with no problem. Lots of power no jamming. Super happy!!

This thing is so much lighter and easier than carrying a gas fed machine and so much more convenient than having a cord to mess with. Only need it a couple times/year but I can easily justify this purchase with the quality upon 1st use.

Great not to have to deal with a cord! Easily cut through 1/2"-3/4" branches. I was surprised how long the trimmer ran on a 3 amp battery, I would definitely recommend this tool.

Gets the job done quick. Much better than a corded one; “cut cord cut”. Balance is fairly good. Will try heavy work on evergreen tree shaping later.

bought this trimmer several months ago , finally tried it out today. wow , 100% impressed , cut threw branches on my big honeysuckle bushes like butter. it turned a long job into a fast easy job. last year it took me two hours by hand , finished in 30 minutes. love this hedge trimmer. highly recommend all milwaukee products. i now own this trimmer , a chainsaw, a vacuum cleaner, a jig saw, a circular saw, a impact gun, a sander and two fans. the products are fantastic.

I replaced a smaller electric trimmer with this model hoping to trim the yard with a couple of batteries. I trimmed the entire property in a shorter amount of time and using one battery with enough power to probably cut the yard again. No cords to worry about cutting, weaving between bushes and burying in limb slash. This tool performed better than expected. Plenty of power to cut limbs it was built to cut. A little heavier than the electric, but is to be expected as this tool is larger the electric.

Solid tool for landscaping needs. Have used sparingly but my experience proves that this is a tool for the long haul. Have been very happy with all my Milwaukee cordless purchases and this trimmer is no different. Highly recommend.

great tool, but i wish the thumb safety was a little more ergonomic.

It works fine with a 5AH or 6AH battery. I've used it with both batteries that were fully charged and didn't drain either. It isn't overly heavy and it is pretty well balanced. I trimmed about 15' on each side of a driveway and about 20' length of bushes in front of the house on one battery. It cut some that were about 3/4" diameter, but it did not like it. My only real complaint is the cost. I could buy something with more power that has a gas motor for the same amount of money. Milwaukee prices are heading north much too fast in recent years! They have almost gotten me to the point that I might have to start looking in another direction.

The hedge trimmer worked very well and since I have a couple of 5Ah batteries I have no problem running out of power.

Excellent, it is the tool I was missing to take care of my yard. Charging is fast and it last.

Right out of the box the trimmer failed. Being a machinist/mechanic I found the drive cam had slipped off. Probably repositioned I correctly tightened the lower retaining assembly which I noticed it wasn’t in the first place. It now works perfectly. I’m glad I didn’t have to return it and avoided the waste of gas. It’s a very ample -capable trimmer.

Works great. My son loves it.
