Cuts are smooth and fast. I've been building up my truck, cuts through frames like butter.

Bigger and a little harder to use 1 handed than I expected but cuts smooth. Would be nicer if it had a faster speed like my smaller one does. And a trigger st the 2nd handle would be great. Otherwise it's great

The Milwaukee M18 deep cut bandsaw is exactly the tool I needed for cutting steel to use in my welding projects. Powerful and consistent cuts, no stalling or binding. I never thought I would have much use for a bandsaw but this is the best tool I have found yet for cutting steel. Dependable. Well made.

Cuts very fast, is very quiet, and very efficient.

I’m on my second deep cut bandsaw, it’s been one of my most used and most reliable tools.

I work in the heavy civil construction industry and this 5" deep cut band saw has saved me so much energy and time, that it has already paid for itself! Everything about this bandsaw is of high quality and very durable. It has a good weight to it to allow it to cut any metal with no effort at all by the user, yet it's not too heavy as it remains portable enough to be taken anywhere. The blades are very simple and quick to change. The adjustable guide makes it easy to get clean and straight cuts.

Super powerful. Cuts 2in thick plate like butter. This paired with the metal cutting circular saw and a grinder you can cut anything anywhere fast. I recommend getting the extreme thick blades. They seem to work the best for me. All in all I totally recommend this product.

Under 2 years old Bandsaw slipped of handle of my packout and hit the ground just right and cracked the frame of the pulley support system. Not covered by warranty at all. Called milwaukee to get part number to order replacement. Was giving plastic cover part number on the part that broke. Would not entertain the fact that could have need a bad mold and even cracked through the screw hole at a week point of the part

Great saw! You need two hands to operate. To activate you need to press the rear trigger first then the front trigger.

I have been wanting one of these for a long time but I held off until I really needed it. I had a job that called for 3 inch square columns welded to 12 inch base plates. I finished the job, but then the engineer changed the design and wanted 6 inch square columns instead. Rather than make all new base plates, I decided to cut them off and re use the original base plates. Trying to get a 28, 16 foot long columns into my bandsaw would have taken about a day. I was able to cut all of the base plates off in just over 2 hours with all of the material handling I had to do. It used 3 of the 5ah batteries to get through all 28 pieces. This saw paid for its self on the first use.

Works as advertised, Tough, Rugged and makes quick work of notching beams and i love the fact i can turn it into a mobile horizontal bandsaw (future concern)

ABSOLUTLY LOVE this portable Bandsaw!! Coworker has a Dewalt one and the milwaukee cuts better and way more versatile. I also dlove how there is an LED light on it too and how the foot plate is adjustable. This amazing tool has definetly made my work so much easier and faster. Mulitple coworkers are jealous too. This tool is a must!

It’s a little heavy , but it cut so much fast then any other band saw.

Its a game changer when it comes to cutting any size of emt! It cuts likes butter, you still need to ream it even tho there basically nothing there ( it does a nice clean cut) As soon as i bought mine, my foreman was looking on buying one for himself. I would definitely recommend a friend on getting this

Cuts 4” steel pipe with ease and precision. Faster and incredibly cleaner cuts than a reciprocating saw.

A great bandsaw. Durable rubber bumpers help extend the life of the saw when it’s bouncing around in the truck. Sliding stop bracket instead of fixed screw down bracket is a nice improvement. Kinda difficult to find blades at supply houses because Milwaukee produces such a wide array of saw sizes.

I love cordless, I used the Milwaukee corded version of this tool for the longest time, but I got rid of that tool after getting this one. The tool is well balanced and eats up metal like nothing. The saw is well protected against drops and debris and crush zone barriers to absorb impacts. As for performance I feel like it performs better than the corded version, especially since it has newer technology. It has constant power technology which allows the saw to maintain cut speed in tough applications. The deep cut band saw allows you to cut up to 5" x 5" in a single pass and the adjustable show allows for less tool rotation when cutting material bigger than 5". The saw requires a minimum blade length of 44 7/8" and does not require a key or tool to change out the blade. The saw weighs in at 13 lbs and for the weight it is very well balanced for good control while operating the tool. Other features are a speed dial as well as a hanging hook. This band saw is a beast and so far I have had no issues cutting all kinds of material. The saw is very well balanced even though it is a tad heavy, but the design allows for you to easily have full control of the saw. I'm currently in the process of doing a complete rebuild of a 15000 sq ft building that I recently purchased and this saw has been in constant use. The building has no power at the moment so being cordless on the job site is a huge money saver. Great investment!!

It’s an amazing tool for any plumber like me, I love it and makes my life so much easier.

I love the tool. As an electrician, sometimes at the work site it is neccessary to turn the power off. It is better for me to have battery tools instead of using a generator. This tool serves all my cutting needs without a problem. I have extra batteries, so a dead battery is not an issue.

The best band saw I still want the fuel 12v bandsaw would give 5 stars but I will not because I have to go back to home depot and buy blades to cut with the 1 blade they give is garbage $450.00 OK but please give me a 3 pack of some good blades PLEASE.

Use this product for electrical and gas lines. Very easy to use and with a 6amp battery has great power and longevity through the jobs. Would highly recommend adding to your tool kit.

Then you said my bandsaw is daily and it takes a beating. If I had to I'll buy this saw again and again. I'm proud to be a part of the Milwaukee team. And I'm honored to add this tool to my Arsenal
