Milwaukee's M18 caulking gun gets the job done without your hand getting tired from constantly pulling the trigger on a manual caulking gun. The gun provides 950 lbs of force with a variable speed trigger and six different speed settings to help fine tune your flow rate. The collar on the gun rotates which helps to give you great control around turns. The carriage can also be changed between the 10 oz, quart, or 20 oz sausage barrels. The tool has an anti-drip function which instantly stops material from continuing to be pushed out. The tool weighs in at 4.9 lbs. I have to start with the reason why I took a star off and it's because there is no onboard cutter to cut the tube you are working with and no onboard poker to puncture the tube. I don't really see this as an issue if you are working a only a few tubes, but when you going to run through a ton of tubes, it becomes pretty inconvenient. I recently went through about fifteen 10 oz tubes of adhesive and I had my old manual caulking gun on hand to cut and pop the tubes before dispensing in my M18 caulking gun. The weight of the gun plus tube plus battery can be on the bit heavier side but I'm used to working with heavier hand tools so it is not much of bother for me, but I can see it being on the heavier side for many. Being that the gun is motorized, I do get a nice and consistent bead every time. Once you dial in the speed setting to what you need, you get the same consist bead as if you were using a manual gun but without all the trigger pulling. I read some review that talked about how long the gun takes to dispense, but my experience has been that once it gets going, no matter how many times I triggered and stopped, it was only a matter of seconds before it would come out again. It does a great job for what it was designed to do, but for the price I feel like Milwaukee can include the cutter and poker.

Excellent tool, very strong, easy to use and confortable

If you have a lot of caulking to do, this is the tool to get! No longer do my arms cramp up applying caulk. I slapped on an M18 CP 2.0 battery, cut the tip and broke the seal of the caulking tube, and I was ready to go. This Milwaukee caulking gun is very easy to use! Just adjust the dial to the speed you want to output, use the variable speed trigger to further adjust the output, and finally, adjust the speed at which you move the caulking gun and you get perfect, consistent beads every time. Adhesive caulk tubes are hard to dispense by hand, but a cinch with this tool. I had a caulk tube of concrete repair and when I went to use the brand new tube, it was already somewhat dried up. Since I could not return the tube, nor did I want to lose what content was not dried up, I applied the trigger on this caulk gun until the caulk tube ruptured. I was then able to scoop up the concrete repair and apply it. Of the many, many tubes I've dispensed using this caulk gun, there has been no cleanup needed. I was shocked – unlike other manual caulk guns I've used, there was usually a mess on the inside push rod to clean up, but not with this one. I like how I can interchange the barrel to a sausage style when needed. Best of all, the anti-drip works flawlessly!

Pretty tacti-cool tool... great for thick expoxy/ adhesives.... not really cool for small jobs though... would recommend.. -joel

Very easy to use and came already setup for use. Has some weight but still very manageable. The adjustable speed gives you perfect control over laying down perfect beads. Ive ran 18 tubes of caulk through already and my battery still has 4 bars. This thing is fantastic on battery life.

It is an excellent tool! Very easy to put down a smooth caulk line with no mess.

Have used this four times. Has blown may tubes even in lowest setting. This gun is really big and pretty heavy for what it is. I could live with these things as I don't use this very often. But, one of the more favorable features, the anti-drip (auto-reverse) stopped working. The performance of this Milwaukee product is very incongruent with many other Milwaukee products I own. This tool has been a disappointment. Hey Milwaukee, I'll give you a good deal on a gently used M18 caulk gun...

I bought this to seal the outside of my 60x30 metal building. It works amazing. It made working with silicone easy which not for me.

This tool is great. It's very useful and can make caulking a breeze. The only issue I have with it is that it is kind of heavy and bulky. Going up and down ladders all day with this in your hands gets tiring. Other than that, it's a 4 star tool.
