Customer Reviews for Milwaukee M18 18V Lithium-Ion Cordless 1/4 in. Hex Impact Driver (Tool-Only)

I've had this impact for a few years now and only recently moved to an M12 model. During that time, this M18 has seen me through cabinet installs, lags into multiple 4x4s, 3" concrete anchors, and automotive repairs. It's a reliable tool with plenty of power. It's one shortcoming is run time under heavy load, and that's where brushless does better; Milwaukee's own entry M18 brushless is just $20 more (and has more torque). Or consider the M12 Fuel; same torque as this but much smaller/lighter.

Powerful Impact with excellent battery life, i used it to screw off 200+ sq ft of backerboard into 2x8 floor joist and still had 2 bars remaining. I really like this tool.

I highly recommend this tool to anybody. Only negative thing I have to say is after 5-6 months of use the plastic fins on the motor exploded but I had it sent it out for repair and a month later I received a brand new replacement from Milwaukee.

The best I've owned and that says something. Great battery life and excellent power. Still wish they made their products in Milwaukee but it is what it is.

Great inpact driver, 100 percent recommend, does get hot after 6 hours of nonstop use but other than that its been great to have

it feels very comfortable to use. i love how the battery shows how charged it is by the press of a button

Good little impact saved me a lot of time instead of using hand tools.

This impact has worked great for me! It delivers instant power and I love how zippy it feels. I’ve had it for a few years now and never had any problems with it. I love Milwaukee and this tool is another win.

So far so good. Good power for 1/4 inch driver. My 4 stars is not 5 because battery that it came with empties faster than I think it should. Good to have two batteries

Works great and has plenty of power, but it is significantly bigger and heavier than my Makita. The Makita is my go-to for screwing in fencing, but if I need to put in a lag screw or tighten a hex nut, I’m reaching for the Milwaukee.

Don’t underestimate this tool!! Very compact, and very powerful. Definitely feel like I got my money’s worth.
