Great Light for daily use
Have had mine for over a year now. I love the rubber so you can hold it with you teeth. Even after the rubber falls off the is still plastic that doesn't hurt your teeth to hold. I carry it every day with me I love the way the light looks

Great light till it falls apart.
Bought this light 2 weeks ago because my coast g20 was acting up and I wanted something a little brighter. It is brighter but not so bright that it blinds you when you try to look at something up close. The button was hard to push and that was my only complaint till the rubber over the button tore off and now I can't click the button. Hopefully they will warranty this because it was a nice light while it worked. Even if they warranty it I'll probably toss it in the tool box in the garage in instead of cary it daily for work where it gets heavy use.

I think this light is the cats meow. It's just the right amount of light. And the clip....the clip is the clip of all clips. For all you people that hate when something had a clip and its suddenly broken. Like the clip on the sharpie markers. This is the light for you. This clip is a monster clip. It seems to be unbreakable. Its the clip of all clips. )

Yet to find a better pen light
I've been carrying this light daily for over 2 years now, and it has been through the wringer. It's been dropped from ladders, used under water and even run over once with a service van and it's never let me down. The Trueview light output makes it easier for me to discern wire loom colors in dark places, unlike standard white LED lights. I use rechargeable batteries in it, and during periods of heavy use I get about a week out of them, with lighter use several months. My only real complaint is that the tail cap rubber cover has started to tear off as others here have indicated, but for me it's lasted 2+ years. Pretty exceptional for a $20 light. It is difficult to operate the switch without the rubber, so I've decided to replace it.. but as hard as I am on flashlights, I have no qualms about buying another light of this level of quality every 2 years or so.

          Milwaukee Pen Light
This is a fantastic little light - it has been my Every Day Carry for the last several months. It has been invaluable for having in my tool belt and in my pocket while I've been doing renovation work, plumbing, rough carpentry, setting up my new cabinet shop, installing moulding, and even giving light for my kids when walking at night. It lights up the inside of cabinets brilliantly for doing new P traps and under-sink work. It's great for providing extra light when making cuts outside and the light is waning. It's great under the house because it provides great light in an enclosed space and it is small enough to be convenient and not too bulky when crawling through tight crawl spaces. It has been quite durable so far - normally the first thing I wear out is the clip and it has help up great so far. I haven't had to adjust it at all from catching it on things (especially the seat belt of my truck). The clip is robust enough that it can hold on my thick leather tool belt and retain its spring - it doesn't get get loose after holding onto the thick leather. The light has been good - it's by no means a spot light or as bright as my 400 lumen Milwaukee pocket flashlight, but it's not designed for that. It's for inspections, using it tighter spaces, for tucking in your pocket or tool belt and not taking up much space. The "on" button can be tough to depress if you are holding the light awkwardly. But I also like that you can partially depress the plunger to turn the light on and have it turn off as soon as you release the pressure. I like this for quick checks without having to keep the light on and in some cases lose your night vision when you turn it off. I've used it a fair amount and haven't gone through the battery yet - so I'm happy with the battery life too

          Button failed
The light output is great, and a nice wide beam without a center bright spot. I mostly use this light when I need to take pictures of dark areas on equipment, that is usually painted black. It provides a nice low glare light that doesn't wash out the picture. However, a few months of use and the rubber button failed. It still works, but is difficult to turn on and off.

            Perfect EDC
I bought the light to fill a void that I never knew I had which for me was I wanted to start carrying a EDC light period. My criteria was : It had to be rugged, be powered off of common and easy to aquire batteries , light-weight, and was intuitive to use. The penlight filled all of my requirements with flying colors and has served as my trusty companion day in and day out, never once failing to function, and always leaving me thankful that I had it.

              powerful pen light
Really simple to use, has the sensitive push on/off button for a quick look press hard to keep it on. NOT cheap plastic material, well made I've dropped it a few times and keeps working just amazing, very bright light for inspections under the hood it provides a pretty bright natural light making things easier by reaching for tight spaces due to the small size, red clip works with magnet easy to pick up. worth every penny

I'm a Master VW technician and use a flashlight several times a day. I've been using this light for a few weeks and overall I really like it. The color of the LED is much easier on the eyes while still being very bright. The "bite zone" is also a big plus as most times I need both of my hands while working. The pocket clip is the biggest draw back as it is a little bulky compared to most pen lights but not enough to really matter. I would buy another one.

It was a great light while it lasted. Unfortunately after about five months the clip broke on it. I don't have any interest in a light I can't clip to my pocket or elsewhere. For what I paid for it, I guess it's not that big a deal. The switch on it is very intense as well. You REALLY have to push down on it to activate it, but I decided it was a good thing so it wouldn't get turned on by accident.

This is my favorite pen light for many reasons, mostly importantly because Milwaukee's "TrueView" technology is not just a marketing gimmick, and I'll tell you why. I work in the automotive collision repair industry as an estimator, so I often have to photograph damage in the dark nooks and crannies of vehicles. The flash on cameras makes it impossible to make out damaged areas in photos, so instead I have to make strategic use of a flashlight to highlight what I'm trying to show in photos. I've previously used a Streamlight Stylus Pro and a Bushnell Pro 100L, both of which are good pen lights, but they share the same annoying problem: their LEDs have a blueish color that makes photos look unnatural and ghostly. Milwaukee's TrueView LED makes colors and textures appear much more accurately, both in photos and to the naked eye. As far as I can tell, TrueView is really just an LED that outputs light at a warmer color temperature (I'm guessing about 3000K). Strangely, the lens on this light is not crystal clear but rather has a hazy coating of some sort, which might be a part of the TrueView technology. Whatever the case may be, this light just works great for my purposes. Refer to the attached photo to see the color difference in action. One other reviewer disliked the Milwaukee's "yellow" light, but honestly it's not actually yellow, it's just not as blue as some people might be used to. Also of note is the pattern of the light output, which is fairly tightly focused but not overly so. The Bushnell has a wider, more diffused pattern which I like better, but your preference may vary. The 100 lumen output is plenty bright for my purposes. Additionally, this light's fit and finish is excellent: the body is sturdy and substantial feeling, the power button is big and requires the right amount of effort, the pocket clip works perfectly, there are no sharp edges, and the knurling is effective without being overly aggressive. One unique feature is the rubber end of the light which allows you to hold the light with your teeth while you're working with both hands. I thought the rubber would get shredded in no time, but it's actually very resilient. I've bitten it several times but my teeth did not leave any cuts or marks on the rubber. I like this light so much it's now the light I carry with me every day. My Streamlight and Bushnell have been relegated to sitting in my toolbox drawer. Two of my coworkers have also purchased this light after seeing it in action. Bottom line, this is an excellent pen light that is well worth its price tag.

I bought this light from a recommendation from a friend of mine, and I will have to say that this is my everday carry light (EDC) for now . I was torn between this pen light and a rechargeable Streamlight which was $30 more than this light. I am pleased with this light because of its contruction. The clip alone sold me on it because it wraps around the whole light as oppose to the Streamlight. It has a decent amount of lumens for an emergency light when you need it. I plan on buying more for the cars and by our bedside. The push button is sturdy enough that it won't accidentally turn on in your pocket but is also sensitive enough to turn on as a instant on.

Wow! This little flashlight packs a ton of light. The Milwaukee 100-Lumen Aluminum Pen Light with Clip is just what I needed. I do maintenance work that requires me to go into some tight spaces where a full size flashlight is neither desirable nor practical. Unfortunately, most pen lights just don't have the brightness I need to see details or distance. The Milwaukee 100-Lumen Aluminum Pen Light with Clip does not fall into that category. It is made of aircraft aluminum and is drop and shatter resistant. The whole thing is waterproof. What more could you ask for? Well, if I had to find one negative, it only has a 45 minute run time and no brightness control to get more minutes out of the batteries. On the flip side, at least they designed it to take regular AAA batteries, so finding juice for it won't be an issue. I highly recommend this light. The lack of five stars is only due to the run time.

Received the milwaukee LED light pen and I'm very impressed. The body of the light is made out of durable aluminum and has a very rugged clip that will hold firmly in any pocket. The other feature which may be useful for some is the end is rubberized for a bite grip when you need both hands for the task. It is definitely plenty bright and the LED color is enhances the clarity of what you're looking at vs. a pure white light. Very solid product.

This review is for the Milwaukee 100-Lumen Aluminum Pen Light with Clip (Model # 2105), which I got a chance to check out. Although I’ve worked as an automobile mechanic and, more recently, as a computer technician these days I’m more of a homeowner / DIY’er, so this review will come from that perspective. Professional trades folks may have a different take on the new Milwaukee. A quick rundown of the specs as posted by Milwaukee: 100 Lumens of TRUEVIEW High Definition Output IP67 Rated: Waterproof and Dust Proof (it should withstand up to a 1 meter dunking) Protective Rubber Bite Zone (for no-hands operation, holding the light in the mouth) Includes: (2) AAA batteries 43 meters beam distance is claimed on the package; I haven’t paced it out but it’s bright enough for working in the basement or under the hood of the car. The tool isn’t made in the U.S., but comes with a limited lifetime warranty from Milwaukee and a 90-day return guarantee from Home Depot The flashlight is made of aluminum and is impact and corrosion resistant. It comes equipped with a pocket clip and is light enough to keep in a shirt pocket without making the shirt sag. The question is, of course, - how does it perform? For years I’ve used a brand name pen light (one that comes with a standard bulb, not an LED) and I’ve found it reliable and useful. It’s too soon to comment on the reliability of the new Milwaukee but it took only long enough to get the 2105 out of the packaging and power it up to see that it’s ‘way brighter than my old penlight. One note on the plastic packaging – be careful when opening the package; the plastic is both strong and sharp. I used a pocket knife to carefully cut the flashlight and instruction sheet out of the packaging and had to be careful not to scrape the flashlight housing with the knife blade. Milwaukee could do a bit better in user friendly packaging! The Milwaukee is turned on/off by a button switch in the end of the handle. I really like this feature, my old penlight powered up by twisting the lamp end around until the beam was in focus. That almost always took me two hands to operate, while the Milwaukee is a simple one hand operation. Also the old penlight would sometimes turn on unintentionally (I carry the light in a belt holster and the lamp end would swivel on its own). The Milwaukee is a very positive “click on / click off” so there’s not much of a possibility that it will power up on its own. In the photos you can see the Milwaukee in my old belt holster – note that the holster does NOT come as part of the 2105. I wanted to see if the Milwaukee would fit as well as the old penlight and, as you can see, it works quite well in the holster. The red pocket clip keeps it firmly in place, ready to use. Milwaukee claims a three hour run time with fresh AAA alkaline batteries. I’ve not run a bench test on timing but after a couple of hours worth of puttering around playing (I mean..um..testing) with my new flashlight it’s not showing any signs of running dry. I’m retiring my old penlight (after several years of good service) to an honored place in my toolbox and replacing it in my belt holster with the new Milwaukee. The Milwaukee is brighter, lighter, easier to turn on / off, and appears to be as reliable as the old one. This one gets a five star review and a “recommended” rating. HTH Regards, Jim

Produces a wide, bright, cool white beam. Great for working in tight spaces. Back of penlight has a rubber coating so you can comfortably grip the light with your teeth, allowing you to still work with both hands. Includes a sturdy, and removable, pocket clip. They didn’t skimp on the batteries. The light is shipped with 2 AAA Duracell alkaline batteries. The only slight shortcoming is the on/off button could use a little less force to operate. It looks like this is because of the dust and waterproof boot covering the switch is a little stiff. I think it’s a fair tradeoff.

Bright and handy to use. Features: 100 lumens. Lasts 3 hrs using 2 AAA batteries. Shines 43m/140 feet. Waterproof and Dustproof. Hand grip is made of protective rubber bite zone for hands free use. Great grip, for your hands, a great improvement over plastic pen lites. The pen lite feels solid and sturdy. Has a sturdy pocket/belt clip. Has push on/off mechanism like a writing pen. Firm push but easy to use. I am very impressed with this lite! It lives up to Milwaukee brand of quality. Great to use for inspecting crawl spaces, attics, for car repair, anywhere compact concentrated bright light is needed. Made in China. Limited lifetime warranty.

This Milwaukee pen light is great and very high quality. It is rated at 100 lumens and will run for 3 hours on 2 AAA batteries and has a 43 m beam distance, it uses one of their high definition true view LED lights and it is IP67 waterproof and dustproof rated. It is made from a black anodized aluminum body at has knurling in the center for grip and is around the same size as a Milwaukee Inkzall marker, and it has a nice clip so you can clip it wherever you want and it has a protective rubber bite zone on the end which I particularly like so I can hold it in my mouth when I need both hands free. I don't know what I can say besides this is a very high quality excellent light and I will use it a lot and I'm stoked to add it to my tool collection! If you are looking for a very high quality excellent pen light then look no further pick this light up and you will be glad that you did!

A decent little light. It seems like these types of lights for purchase are all over the place. When I opened this up I asked myself "what makes this light different from the rest"? It is nice because it is thin. It is not flared in shape so it can fit in a tool pouch or shirt pocket easily. The one thing I do like is the rubber butt end. The whole cylinder is rubber at the switch end. If you are like me, the first place this goes when I am working on something small is in my teeth to hold and direct the light. This rubber keeps you teeth from grinding on the light. Smart idea. The brightness is average. The switch is kind of cheap. You really have to make sure you are hitting it squarely to allow it to operate. It needs a magnet. It would be nice to stick it on the fridge or trunk lid.

YES! I love light pens! I was so sick of using my cell phone under vanities when changing out garbage disposals, valves, faucets, and sink drains. My phone would get so wet and icky stuff would get between my phone and the case. This pen is 3-4x brighter than my phone flashlight and it's waterproof and dustproof. When removing the cap to replace the batteries, the clip(removable) is pretty sharp and sits right next to the rubber seal.. Be careful here as the clip may cut the rubber seal! make sure the clip is seated correctly, above the seal. Funny how they thought to make one end of the light "rubberized" so you can bite on it. I'm not a fan of biting on my tools, but it's thoughtful. The whole thing is very well made. I love that it's a pen shape so it can easily slide into my tool bag next to my screwdrivers.
