Purchased this Melnor 8-Pattern Soft Touch Watering Wand to replace an identical one that has been in use for several years. The first one, for some reason, no longer will allow water to pass through the "Jet" setting. Hopefully, the new one will have a longer life.

cant stand the cold
Bought 2 of these attachment last September and after a long winter i tried to use it and it added a new spray pattern coming from the handle.

The BEST wand out there for watering plants. I have two different around the house - one standard one in the back and this want in the front, and I prefer this one 100% (I am happier watering my plants in the front than in the back haha).

Works for a short while and then splits on the handle and water gushes out. I’ve had two and neither lasted for more than a year or two.

keeps you dryer while using a hose, if you drop or put it down on the handle it doesn’t squirt you, also nice patterns of spray

Great if it Lasted
5 stars for design & ease of use, but only 1 star for quality & longevity. I’ve had 6 of these the past several years because they keep breaking. Some after a few months. I keep buying them because I love everything else about them. The length & angle of the wand are PERFECT, as is the hand grip. Most nozzles don’t have as many useful settings as this. I use them all depending on what I need them for. I also have arthritis & this is the only wand I can turn on & off very easily with one thumb.
