Snowblower wouldn’t start. We poured a bit of mechanic in a bottle in the snowblower and it started right up. Miracle in a bottle.

This stuff really works. The most dramatic was a 1960’s chainsaw that sat for decades. It would start with fresh gas injected into the carb throat but not keep running. Poured in some Mechanic in a Bottle in the fuel tank, pulled the starter cord to circulate the MIB, let sit, started up next day.

Good product for motor up grade!

Ethanol fuel mandated by the feds have made my small engines hard to start (honda, echo, stihl). These are not disposable engines and i use them almost daily. Mechanic in a bottle is used in every new gallon of gas I purchase, whether mixed with oil or not. Now they start on the first pull most times and definitely on the second pull. I will buy it again from home depot as some other retailers have priced it out of this world.

I’ve used this in the past with regular gas with the typical ethanol mix and it’s helped my lawn mower run smoother but it’s never been super smooth despite the additive. My snow blower was really gummed up after not being used for roughly 2 years but this got it running again. Granted, this stuff had to sit in the tank and get pushed into the carb for a couple of days before it turned over. Once running the engine for a few hours it didn’t become super smooth like I was hoping. What has really helped is using a mixture of this stuff with TruFuel (No ethanol) and my mower is running sooo smooth it’s amazing. It has more power now and the engine barely slows when dealing with damp long grass. I’m really excited to use my snow blower this coming winter to see now this combination cleans and maintains the engine. TruFuel is expensive but using it with MIB has produced great results that will surely mean fewer repairs and easy maintenance.

Did not work as advertised. I still have to remove the carb and clean it.

Got my weed whacker running again. Great stuff!

Even though my lawnmower was under warranty, I didn't want to have to load it up and take it in for service when it started surging at idle even though it is only two years old, I only used non-ethanol gas, I add gas preserver and I run out and empty the tank at the end of the season. I added about 2 oz and let it sit overnight. I cut the grass the next day and the surging was gone!!!

This stuff works great for all small engines. Work in a shop for a landscape company - saves me all the time!! This is the best price I have seen for this size bottle.

Used it in 4 vehicles, 1 motorcycle and a snowblower, So far so good. The light on my dash went out after 1 tank and I swear all "feel" like they are running leaner, smooth.

I was having issues with my car stalking and the Mechanic Im a bottle seems to have solved the problem.

I have used Mechanic in a Bottle for years as a gasoline additive. It keeps the carburetor from gumming up, even if gas is left over a long period of time (not recommended). I think it is the best product on the market for keeping your mowers and snow blowers running, and starting every year!
