Best solution yet to help remove dried mortar/cement from metal surfaces.. Had residue on aluminum, sparyed as directed, waited and pretty much hosed it off--there were a few spots that needed a coarse sponge and some needed a little help from a scaper--most though washed right off--very good product!

It did dissolve, but to a very limited extent.

I had some spatter of quick setting concrete with additives to remove from stainless steel and powder coated rolled steel. After reading all of the reviews, this seemed to be the best product to use. Spatter was ~1/8 inch thick in places, sprayed with this product., and it foamed briefly, then the concrete came off with just a plastic scraper and paper towels! Good stuff.

I'm using to clean out floor leveler in shower drain. It's not working very well.

Mean Kleen took on dried concrete in a well used mixer. It took several applications to make a dent in the dried concrete, some of the older build up concrete. The newer concrete softened so it could be chiseled off.

Worked just like it said. Saved us a major repair job. Didn't know it existed.

Cleaned up mortar film like a charm. Used on granite tread and cobblestones where the mortar left a haze. Mortar was 1 week set. The spray bubbled only where the mortar was, wiped in 5 min. Beware: will discolor if not cleaned off. (Learned on test piece)

I worked around concrete in one way or another most of my working career. I recently bought a used concrete mixer from a Craigslist seller. He had done a crap job cleaning it, so I figured I was going to have to use muriatic acid to clean it. I had no idea there was such a thing as concrete dissolver...and I was skeptical, but thought..."why not try it." WOW! I still had s bit of scraping, but the Mean Klean Concrete Dissolver does exactly what it claims. I highly recommend it.

I think the product is temperature sensitive.

Don't work as advertising.

This stuff really worked! We had some spilled mortar that had set on shingles near the chimney. I just sprayed it on, let is soak in then brushed it off with a wet cloth.

It does not do a good job at all at dissolving concrete. It made it look cleaner, but that's about it.

Cleaned all the mortar residue (or haze) off of bricks. It isn't super strong so you may need multiple applications to dissolve thicker globs of mortar, but it works.

Mean Klean elimiated the need for the use of muriatic acid to clean mortar off bricks that had been re-pointed. It was a non-toxic solvent that allowed use close to plant material without causing any harm. It was safe to handle, use and dispose of. Thanks for carrying a great alternative that worked extremely well!

Turned the concrete white, then brown, and left it stuck right where it was. I wound up having to chip the concrete away. Useless product, unless you need a paperweight.

We had a lot of grout left on glass feature tile in our bathroom remodel. It worked incredibly well, not damaging any of the other tile or the glass tile! Still takes some elbow grease but really does the job!

Some concrete splashed on the windows and rain gutters of our brand new house. I used this and a little bit of elbow grease and they look like new again. Very pleased with the end result.
