Been using it for more than 1 month. Very pleased with this cooktop.

It is well designed and the burners work as described. Foods cook quick which is great. The top grates work great for various sizes of cook where. Excellent looking appliance.

Excellent Product. Everything works well. First time user of a gas range and we love it. However, going from an enamel cooking finish to stainless steel is a "Cleaning" experience.

I had been trying for 40+ years to get my wife to go to a gas cooktop. She refused because her mother always used electric. When we broke to glass cooktop on our 3rd smooth top unit I was tired of replacing them. Very expensive. I decided to go with a gas unit and did so without permission. We have loved our Maytag dishwasher for the last 12 years and not a lick of trouble. So I took the plunge did a little research and ordered one online. Needless to say the Mrs wan't real happy with me until she found she can now get enough heat to make candy with the grandkids. We used to use an outdoor propane burner. She now say's "why didn't you put in gas sooner?" We are very happy with our purchase and hope to enjoy it for years to come.

The gas ignition is quick and reliable and burner control is precise. My only mild improvement suggestion is that after the cooktop is dropped in the provided mounting bracket is too small and flimsy and does not mount to our install area. You need to secure the unit from underneath from moving with a more useable piece of metal strapping or a homemade bracket. I would still recommend the unit.

Well fitting high Quality grates stay in place and make it easy to move heavy pots from burner to burner. Helps with arthritic hands. Auto spark is load enough to know it is working. Excellent range and easy to use heat control knobs. Wipes up quickly but shows spots. Almost wants you to cook something else.

I like the way I can easily move the pots around.Very easy to clean.

All 4 burners have different BTUs..Love that.You can adjust the flame anywhere you need it to be.

I love my Maytag cooktop. It works great and IS SO EASY TO CLEAN!!

What impressed me with this unit is that the grate that go over the burners are sturdy manufactured with thick grate material.In addition, the surface area is easy to clean; the burners ignite very well; and the arrangement of the burners make it possible to use a variety of pots and pans for easy cooking.Furthermore, the installation was very simple and no additional parts were required to hook up to my gas supply.in my opinion, this is a great appliance and very affordable and will last a long time.

For some reason, it is impossible to get this clean and free of smudges. Regardless of the cleaner you use, the black porcelain finish is smudgy. I've never had a problem with this before so I'm not sure why this is happening. Otherwise, the stove works well.

I like the desighn of this counter top burner. It is nice to look at and performs well.The only negative that I have is the left front burner is hard to light. It takes about 8 seconds for it to light where as the other 3 burners light almost instantly. Not sure if this is on all models or just mine.

This cook top is beautiful and functional. The power burner get the water boiling fast and the cast iron grates makes it easy to move around pans while cooking. The cook top is very easy to keep clean. I would highly recommend this product.

My wife and I absolutely love our new stainless steel cooktop. It cooks very well and we love the different temperatures which can be reached by using different burners. Above all else, however, the cooktop looks very nice and has clean lines and design which brings a complteness to our newly remodeled kitchen.

This looks very nice and I am very happy with the quality. Once we had the burners properly set up for propane, everything works great.

Arrived undamaged packaged well. Installation instructions clear and all parts in the box. One complaint is that the electric starter is poorly designed. When the electronic starter is engaged for one burner all burner fire and the spark is therefore weak

really like the two piece grate system. cleans up really well.

Like the various degrees of heat produced by the four burners. I do wish there was a little more space between burners as some of my pans with double handles cannot be squared onto the burners without touching another pan on an adjacent burner. Also, the flames just go from low, med, & high. There doesn't seem to be degrees in between.

I agree with a review below, to many screws sticking out the sides all around the unit. I had to modify my counter top to make it fit because of those screws sticking out. There has to be a better way to eliminate the screws.

The stove is beautiful, however the specification section online is incorrect. It says "Cut-Out Width (in.) : 29.5 in." When you get the manual, it says 28.5 in. Please make note of this so that you don't ruin your countertop like we did!!!

I purchased this unit to replace a 13 year-old GE cooktop with a stuck valve. I agree with the other reviewer - this cooktop is deeper than the old GE, and I thought I would need to shim underneath the cooktop to raise it off the counter, as it has several screws on the bottom that stick out, but it just barely cleared my built-in GE electric undercounter oven. I did have to dremel out some spots in the cutout, as the cooktop also has protruding screws all around the sides, but that wasn't too hard. Overall, I really like this cooktop. The flame is really easy to regulate, and the power burner boils water in no time. It's a beautiful unit, much nicer and sturdier than the GE cooktop with which I compared it. Cleanup is a breeze, since the open design and sealed burners allow for access to every spot where something could spill. A couple of concerns: * This cooktop surface does get hot when the burners are going, but I think this is due to the open design, as I saw a review mentioning this concerning another manufacturer's similar cooktop - I never really noticed if the surface of my old GE cooktop (with the drip pans) got this hot, but I guess it's logical that it would - I am a little concerned about possible scorching of my counter, but I'll keep an eye on it. * The grates are quite heavy-duty, and while they sit absolutely level on the surface of the cooktop, there does seem to be a "high spot" over each burner that causes my pots and pans to rock a little bit. I saw this issue mentioned in a review of this cooktop on another site. Since I caught a sale, I got an excellent price, and I look forward to good reliability, since Whirlpool now owns and builds Maytag. I hope to have many years of good service from this cooktop.

This cooktop was purchased to match a 24 in. Gas Single Wall Oven in Black, also a Maytag that I had purchased. Perfect match. The burner grates are cast iron and have a cook on the grill look to them. I like the way they look but but some my not. Remember to make sure the center disk is seated on each burner so the igniter will work properly. It has one small, two medium, and one large burner. The depth of the cooktop was about an inch more than the old one and I had to modify the drawers in the cabinet to make it fit. Other than that, it functions well and I am very satisfied with my purchase.
