I bought this 3 years ago and the compressor died. I was told you didn't cover it.

We bought this fridge for our office in 2012 and 4 years later it no longer cools. Very disappointed in the Maytag brand now.

I am aware that his fridge is no longer available but this is my review after 4 yrs. last Saturday fridge started humming so loud, within a few hours the ice melted and meats were defrosting! 4 years old! How could a fridge only last 4 yrs?

Purchased the refrigerator two years ago and had to spend over $200 on a service call to replace the relay switch.Would never buy or recommend a Maytag product again.

Three years ago stainless steel was trending the social media. {Just had to have one)Five of us with retail schedules whom would have thought that both top and bottom meetthe food savers needs. Leftovers are something big for this home and baby it was worth it!. Room to stack and /or side to side wide storage containers with room to spare. Definitely , a fridge that take us to the front of the line.....Rook solidspacious freezer with out a need for another top opening frre standing freezer.

Last January I bought a new Maytag Refrigerator, then in September I sold my house with all new appliances, So on the new house I bought I only wanted Maytag, so I got the refrigerator in white this time. Thank you for the great appliances you make.

I run a small manufacturing operation and we bought this for the employee lunch room to replace an old and very tired fridge. This Maytag is a very nice basic unit that has an icemaker as standard equipment. The icemaker probably gets the most use of all the features and it has shown to be very reliable.This runs quiet and really does a great job. I have been happy with other Maytag appliances that I have purchased over the past few years and this one doesn't disappoint. Lots of off-shore brands have bad reviews making Maytag a far better choice.

bought over a year ago. stays nice and cold with plenty of room. as others have stated the slider for the deli bin keeps coming off and the draw will not stay up....gave up on it and just sat draw on shelf.

We stopped using it. It never got cold enough to preserve food. Home Depot HAS NEVER stood by their promise or the product,. We bought a new refrigerator before the Kenmore at the Home Depot,. It had an ice maker that one could retrieve water and ice from the freezer door. They promised, the men delivering and the Home Depot Store, that the ice maker would be set up for free as a perk for buying from them. They never did. We always got lame excuses why they couldn't do it. that refrigerator lasted 4-5 years ONLY..

Only 1control in fridge section, ice cream is soft in freezer section.Ice maker is slow, slow, slow! Not really much room considering the size. Bought Maytag for the name and made in the USA features but very disappointed in this product. No light in freezer either. If you turn up refrigerator control for freezer, food freezes in refrigerator section. Wish I could return! Oh and only 6 months old!

After some Internet research I have learned some manufacturers such as Maytag have reduced the amount of nickel used in the stainless steel. As such rust can be a problem. Magnets indeed stick to my fridge door. With "real" stainless steel, they should not stick. Buyer Beware !! The fridge continues to operate but the finish is ugly.

Works great. First time we bought a MAYTAG REFRIGERATOR but we also have a MAYTAG dryer( about 4yrs old) and a year old MAYTAG washing machine.

I had a bottom freezer before and wanted another one. Now I'm glad I got the top freezer because I have so much more room. I love it and I so glad I got the ivory color which is hard to find. Thank you Maytag.

I bought this 3 years ago and recently it started to freeze the food in the fridge. Then the ice maker wasn't making ice and the freezer started to get warm. Now the freezer is making only 3 ice cubes a day and the fridge is getting warm. Worst purchase ever and I can't get a repair man to fix it for a few weeks so in the mean time I have my food in a cool in the middle of my kitchen. At this point I am very frustrated and after reading some other reviews I don't know if I should buy replacement parts or buy a new fridge since people said theirs died even after replacing parts.

I just downsized into a condo and this new fridge was waiting for me. It is the perfect size for one, and laid out very well with the shelving. The seller picked it out, but the color is great, and I would go to Maytag again - I've only had Whirlpool before - this is great!

My wife and I found are self short a frig after 21 years of good service our Maytag bit the dust. So naturally we wanted a Maytag to replace it. Purchased a new 21 cu. ft. top Freezer and are very pleased with it. Thanks Maytag for being their when we needed you....We know with Maytag you have a Great Record for Quality and Dependability that we trust.

The freezer has no light which I find a disadvantage. The box came with the Maytag label on a tilt...poor Quality control. When I first used the ice maker it did not work. I called the store and they told me to adjust the temperature which is exactly contrary to manufacturers suggestions.

We have really enjoyed our new fridge! It looks great in our kitchen, and has a lot of great features that fits what we need.

I am very disappointed with the drawers. They continually slide out of the brackets and fall out.

if you need a replacement fridge that needs to fit into the space from '70's kitchen layout, this is it! you get the stainless look without demolishing any of your cabinets. i'm glad Maytag still makes this size fridge.

I love my new refrigerator. It has everything that I was looking for; glass shelves, adjustable door shelves that hold items larger than a salad dressing bottle, ice maker, 2 sizes of fresh food drawers rather than 2 of the same size neither of which is large enough for some items, and a fresh meat drawer. Did I mention that I love my new refrigerator!!!

Bought in September, 2014. Very noisy. Makes loud, moaning noises (compressor). Things freeze in the fridge and the freezer doesn't get cold enough...ice thaws just enough to all stick together and mushy ice cream. Needs separate controls for top and bottom.

Bought a couple months ago. Went from a side by side back to conventional love it.Freezer is big also even with ice maker.

I bought this refrigerator two years ago and had to replace it already. I am extremely unhappy with it.

I bought 3 years ago and 4 months ago items began freezing in fridge part. 4 repairs later including replacement of thermostat we have had freezer die (lost $500 worth of meets etc) and fridge side barely works! No mas!

We bought this in June 2012 for an extra refrigerator in our garage. Our previous garage refrigerator lasted over 15 years. During an exceptionally cold spell this winter, the pop cans in the refrigerator exploded and soon after the freezer stopped cooling. Apparently the seals have broken in the compressor. The cost to repair is more than we paid for the refrigerator. Not recommended for a garage.

I've only had this a few weeks but I'm happy with it.
