I’m satisfied with the product

This jigsaw is an older brushed style, and with that, you may feel it sacrifices power, but you'd be wrong. This thing absolutely rips and is a joy to use in wood, but also for other uses. I literally was in a bind with tricky thick drywall patches on old plaster the other day and pulled this out to make the perfect irregular wall and ceiling patches left by the electrician. This jigsaw doesn't hesitate one bit, just make sure the right blade setting is chosen for the material.

Saw works great can’t complain. But make sure you check your products from Home Depot. I ordered online for pickup and when I got there they tried given me a returned saw with a taped up box.

Got jigsaw with battery deal around Christmas. It has worked well the few times i have used it.

This is a great jigsaw. Well-built. Constructed just like a corded jigsaw.

Too much for drywall

This is a VERY good jigsaw, and cuts quite smoothly with little to no vibration. I would use a 5amp battery with this took. All Makita cordless tools are very good. Happy with this purchase.

An excellent replacement saw for my Dewalt that quit working after 13 yrs.

Works about the same as my Bosch but is cordless. Plastic sole plate is a nifty touch! The free blade with the tool is holding up really well too - unheard of.

I received used item. However, it is ok

This was one of the tools I held out getting for awhile, but I wish I hadn't. It cuts like butter, particularly on the "III" full oscillating setting. The plastic cover for delicate surfaces is a really nice addition, as well as the anti splintering piece. Pop them in a zip lock for detailed work and keep them handy. It's worth noting the clear anti splintering piece should only be used on setting one (no oscilatting), non-beveled. Now I'd like to find out how to set it up for flush cuts.

I’ve been using Makita cordless tools since the 7.2 volt days and am more than satisfied by the consistency of their durability and longevity. Plus they are great tools.
