Looks great and is functional
My husband took a bad fall sometime ago, tearing loose his quad muscle. After several surgeries he is still a bit unsteady on his feet. When we decided to remodel our master bath, it seemed like adding some grab bars would be appropriate. However, I wanted to avoid grab bars that looked like grab bars. this unit is one of the items we selected.
The brushed nickel finish goes nicely with the tile we selected. Placing the shelf near the shower fixture will allow him someplace to grab, if necessary.. while also serving as a place to set a bar of soap or other bath items. I think this really will do the trick. I do wish it was a bit less pricey.

Great Product .. Does the Job and Looks fantastic
We had planed to just do a straight grab bar in our newly remodeled shower. But I came across this item online. I showed it to the contrator doing the work. He liked it. I went ahead and orderd two ... one for each corner of the shower. They are great. This turned out much better than a straight bar would have been. I can't comment on the ease of installation. My contractor installed them. I have attached a few pics showing the shower. This corner bar and shelf is a MUST in your shower.

perfect dual use
We love these grab bars. They go perfectly with our new remodel. We did not use the screw system that came with bars. We drilled into the 2 x 4 installed at the time of remodel to have a stronger hold system. I use to get into shower and out of tub so chances of slipping and falling are virtually eliminated. No one knows they are grab bars because they hold the soap on lower one and shampoo on the top one. We did drill small holes in soap one so the soap didn't get soggy as other reviewers suggested. Just the right size for kitty corner
This bar helps to serve 2 needs at once. Wanted a safety grab bar for entry and something to hold onto
near the shower for those just in case you slip moments. The bar has the added benefit of a small shelf
to hold soap/shampoo bottles which keeps them off the tub and from falling down when placed on the tub rails. Install is easy enough to do. They provide secure lock fastener to install, however, I chose to use safety toggles purchased separately to have all 4 mounting holes secured. I used 3/16" toggles. Just check to be sure your right angle is flush for both sides with the flanges and then mark your holes accordingly. Straight forward install. I I have other Moen products in the bath, so, this complements nicely
to the set. Good value overall.

Lives up to quality of Moen
I am a huge fan of Moen fixtures and this certainly is no exception. I like how it doubles as a soap dish and grab bar and found it to be worth the cost. I love it in my new master bath.

Forget It!
Returned item because it's a solid, removeable (accidently fall out) plastic shelf that collects water and soap scum, instead of being made with wire or perforated metal self-that does not come off..

Nice design
Nice design and the removable shelf is nice for cleaning. It's too bad that the shelf does not have the option to come in the same finish as the grab bar. I haven't installed the item yet.
