Excellent cartridge. But I bought the wrong one for my faucet. This is for a tub and I needed the one for a two handle bathroom sink. Returned this to my local store and got the correct one. It dropped right into position and doesn't drip. Easy peasy. Just make sure you buy the correct one!

No more drip, drip, drip....
Exact match for original in my Moen Chateau Roman tub deck faucet circa 2003. Pay attention to the orientation of the value body with respect to the notch in the valve body and matching tab on the cartridge. Failure to align these or insert the new value to the full depth of the original (measure it BEFORE you pull the old one) will cause leaks and reduced flow.

Same as original. Plan for a tight removal of old cartridge.
Exact replacement from Moen. The old cartridge was extremely tight and required installing the extension and knob back on with the other inner pieces removed. Then I placed about 1" of wood block on one side of the knob and used the arms of slip joint pliers from the other side under the knob to act as a lever to pry up on the knob, thus pulling up the old cartridge. Go slow and pull straight.

Moen sent it to my house free in 2 days....
Moen sent it to my house free in 2 days. While HD made me pick it up in store and took 7 days to get is there. (I returned as soon as I picked it up since the project was already done).
