If you’re using for a skim coat...spend the extra $4-7 and get the Magic Trowel. I tried to use this product but the end curled and screw kept digging into the mud if I didn’t hold it JUST right. I’m a beginner ...so I took it back and invested in the Magic Trowel. Picked it up at a local paint store.

Appears made of good quality, haven't had a chance to use it yet because the weather pushed my project to the spring.

Just a homeowner trying my hand at 'skim coating'. I found this squeegee left random lines or streaks across the width of every swipe. I was using thinned (pretty thin) all-purpose joint compound as recommended by many, but got lines and/or streaks every single time. Switched to the metal 14" Marshalltown knife I've had for decades, and to my great surprise, it ended up working perfectly! I thought the rubber squeegee would be more forgiving for this novice on this bigger project that I was working on, so I never even considered using the 14" knife. It could very well be this homeowners poor 'technique' with the rubber squeegee was the problem, but this thing didn't work for me.

They don’t get tight end they break easy

Works really well on thinned out drywall mud. Gives us a very smooth surface and really minimizes the amount of sanding needed.

Great product to smooth

I was told that a squeege trowel was an ideal tool for doing a skim coat. That was not the case. A wide bladed metal knock down knife does a much better job. I tossed the squeege.

Was just what I needed for doing my project

I used this product for finish drywall work and it worked really well. My only complaint is that the set screw to hold the blade angle kept loosening. Wound he better on a blade this length to have two or more set screws to hold the angle.

This leaves a nice feathered edge when using concrete refinishing compound. Especially good for novices.

Product used to move metallic epoxy paint around onto cement floor. Squeegee worked perfectly for this application. Would highly recommend this product if resurfacing your garage floor!!!

used for spreading LevelQuick Self Leveling Underlayment over basement slab; worked very well.

Great for skim coating. I had a lot more success than with steel trowels. Use a "knockdown knife" for smaller areas.

Over priced for quality

The tool was well packaged and arrived in time!

Purchased the tool to make it easier for me to add a level 5 finish to drywall.

Worked fantastically for what we needed it for. Would recommend to anyone.
