The door was fairly easy to install. There was two of us working together to install it. We are by no means overly handy, but it only took two hours including caulking. A few tips: The instructions are a little difficult to figure out. Read them all the way through as some future steps help explain earlier ones. The numbering of the screws is off by 1 or 2 numbers. Use the pictures to determine which screw you should use. The bottom track instructions say to fill the gap with caulk. That did not provide enough caulk to secure the track to the shower base. Use more caulk all over the bottom to secure the track. The cost isnt bad for the door. I feel it was a little over priced especially when I added in shipping. Overall I am happy with the door and how quickly it went in. i was expecting 4 letter words to fly and to lose an entire day, but neither one happened.

This product was just what we needed. It was a fairly standard purchase, but it looks like it was custom made.

Installed easily. An extra part came with it, presumably for an alternate type of installation. Instructions need a rewrite, but if you take your time they're easy enough to sort out. I ordered from Home Depot online -- one of the parts arrived with damage. Called the manufacturer, who sent out a replacement, no charge. Much better deal than the alternatives I've seen for 2x this price.

Was looking for a frameless shower door but they were much more expensive than I wanted to spend. This door looks like a frameless for a fraction of the price. Very nice construction. Well worth buying.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the excellent quality and reasonable price for this shower door. It's very attractive, and because of it's simplicity, makes the small bathroom and shower seem much larger. I would definitely recommend it to a friend!

We love the shower door. It is very "classy" looking. Two recommendations: The directions did not identify the possible need or use of a reducing spacer for the latch side of the frame. Took a while to determine the need/use of the piece. Also, the bottom "sweep" seal should come pre-cut for the latch side. It would be much easier to trim the pivot side (straight cut). Also, devise some way to seal the trimmed sweep under the magnetic door trim.

Easy to install- follow instructions carefully. Great door for the money. Looks like a $450 door

Door looks very stylish and rich. Makes my bathroom look bigger. Instructions were a little hard to follow and it took longer to install than anticipated. But well worth it once it finally was installed.

Product is okay. Directions are completely useless - the parts are mislabeled. At one point the directions tell you to make sure you do something a specific way, which turns out to be the exact opposite of how to complete the task. A part was damaged (the pivot hinge) and the company in Quebec you have to call has ONE PERSON answering their calls. The hold time was over 30 minutes listening to french ads. I would never buy this product again.

The product I ordered was a shower door and the price was so affordable that I couldn't pass it up. It arrived so quickly I was able to put it together by following the pictures and the numbered pieces in no time. It was so beautiful when the person who helped me put it on. It's soooo elegant. Thank you for making it so easy to order on line.

Great, looks wonderful, and makes my smaller bathroom look extremely spacious. Material is immensely sturdy and provide a sleek finish. After installation, we had water coming from the bottom, but that was easily remedied with silicone seal.

The first glass shower door ordered was damaged along the metal casing. Maxx sent another door and it was warped! Yes, the glass was bowed, making it unable to close securely. So my installer replaced the first door's damaged casing with the casing from the second door. So after 3 return visits and 3 weeks in shipping, we have a working door.

Door is fine, but you could tell someone had opened and re-sealed the box, and the door handle to the shower door was missing.

In contrast to the Kohler shower door I had purchased (and returned - despite the description, it was not wide enough), the MAAX shower door arrived within a couple of weeks. Several of the parts had minor bends from rough handling during shipping, but I determined that the damage wouldn't be apparent after installation. Installation was fairly straightforward, with a few frustrations: 1. There was an extra aluminum frame part that was not described or listed in the instructions, but seemed to be a spacer to allow installation into a wider opening. 2. The instructions for the trestle part said to measure the opening, subtract 4 inches, and cut the trestle to that length. In fact, it needed to be cut a bit more. 3. The weather strip piece at the base of the door does not extend low enough to block water from escaping the shower stall. 4. The screw anchors are not strong enough to hold the weight of the door. These were replaced with better fasteners. 5. Mismatched height of door glass, metal edge, and frame. No way to fix it. We'll learn to live with it. Despite the above complaints, the door is attractive and functions well.

I installed this shower door by myself in approximately 6 hours. The installation instructions were in general easy to follow. There were a few steps that were confusing or missing which I will discuss in a moment. My shower now looks stunning. These are the tools that I found useful: cordless power drill, 1/4" drill bit, miter box, hack saw, silicone sealant, #2 Phillips screwdriver, 12-inch ruler, 1/4" wall anchors, hammer, pencil, and safety goggles. I actually used: Bosch 1/4"-4"-6" drill bit (MC06 or MP06). Triple Grip Anchor #8 with screws (model # 171S). GE silicone II clear kitchen and bath caulk (model #HD5040 24C). Buck Bros. miter box and saw set (model #40328). Buck Bros standard hack saw (model #12050). On page 8 of the installation instructions, the captions for the pictures are wrong. In the picture on the right, the shower head is on the RIGHT side, and the door hinge and pivot wall channel are on the LEFT side. And In the picture on the left, the shower head is on the LEFT side, and the door hinge and pivot wall channel are on the RIGHT side. On page 9, the holes in the bottom of the pivot wall channel might be slightly too small for #8 x 3/8" long screws. On page 11, before drilling the holes, nick the surface of the ceramic tiles with a cheap 1/4" drill bit and a hammer. Set the speed of the power drill at 500 rpm. Do not use the supplied wall anchors. Use the Triple Grip Anchor #8: each anchor can handle up to 51 lbs. On page 12, measure the Dimension D with a 12-inch ruler and a pencil. Cut the bottom track with a standard hack saw and a miter box. On page 15, make sure that the holes on the adjustable wall channel are facing the inside of the shower. On page 16, widen the holes on the adjustable wall channel with a 3/8" drill bit. On page 17, make sure the adjustment screw heads on the pivot clamps are facing the edge of the glass, and the 1/4"-20x1/2" screws and the two-hole bushings go to the holes on the side of the glass with the exposed magnet. On page 18, when installing the glass, make sure that the front of the pivot clamps are facing the outside of the shower. On page 24, fill all the gaps with silicone sealant. Use your index fingers to smooth out the sealant. Good luck!

For just about $100 more than the in-stock doors, this really packs a great value. Well worth it. Very high end.

Really dresses up our bath remodel. Love it! Not too hard to install, just took 2 hours or so. The water "sheets" off the glass really well so I expect a lot less mold problems than I had with my old door. Packaging was beat up but no damage to the product.

We are very pleased with this door. It looks great and the price was much lower than others we saw. The installation went quickly and our bathroom looks great!

This door is a good value but has too much metal for a frameless door. Installation was not hard so no issue there. Overall a good value.

So far so good, we've only had the door installed for a couple of days, but it looks good and there are no leaks! We had an issue with part of the door frame being dented in shipping. I called the company's customer service and they sent out the replacement part. It did take a long time to get here so we had no shower door, which was frustrating, but I appreciated that it was relatively easy to get the replacement part (easy in that it wasn't a long debate about proving it was damaged in shipping). It looks nice and was fairly simple to install in that the instructions were good and all the pieces were there and fit! Unless you're a practiced do it yourselfer, plan on quite a few hours to get the door installed properly. Happy with this purchase so far.

I had read the previous reviews and thought they might be to good to be true. I was really impressed with the ease of mounting the door and the quality.

This door is really nice....it took a few hours to install bc the parts weren't properly labeled. Otherwise it's a great door due to the act that more than one part of the door is adjustable.

This door is great looking and has a nice heavy feel to it. Not too hard to put together, but the parts list numbers were wrong. This is the best price on a seamless shower door out there and I was concerned about the quality, but so far we are pleased.

I ordered a shower stall with a door, according to the description of product and picture on line. It turned out to be only a door. I am returning the product and I have to take it to the store myself which is going to be very difficult. I buy on line because I don't have any way to transport large products.

This door was exactly what I was looking for to complete our master shower remodel. The price was fantastic. However, the product was not securely packaged. The box was dropped in transit and several pieces were damaged. There was little padding surrounding the metal or glass. The door looks nice, but there is a small dent on the metal frame on the door that will bother me. Otherwise, a good buy.

Very happy with this product. It is a great value for the price. Installation was easy and should be able to be done by anyone with basic DIY knowledge. I will echo the other comments on the instructions. The parts numbering is off by 1 (18 is really 19 for example), but everything is so well packaged that it's very easy to figure out. There is also an error in the directions when it comes to hinge placement on the door. Just look at the photo on the website and you'll be fine.

I followed the instructions and was able to install this door by myself in about 2 hours on a 36" wide fiberglass shower.
