A little over priced

I love this and worked perfect for a decorative element for my utility door but it’s upsetting that this product comes bent or damage. I had to order it it couple of times not to get a damaged piece

This worked GREAT. I purchased this in the spring to fill in the sides of the window air conditioner where the storm window comes down. Worked GREAT. No robins could get in to nest :)

I received this merchandise in a timely manner. The merchandise was exactly what I wanted. It was perfect for an insert in a radiator cover. I was very happy with the purchase and the price.

Used to protect part of kitchen wall where pots hang. Perfect protection and accent to decor.

Used as decorative insert on cabinet door looks very pretty

If you need one of these protective screens, this product will do the trick nicely. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is its fairly steep price.

Too small only size they had

I used this on an unusual need. I had mice nesting in my air filter of my car. So first I cut to fit infront of my air filter so that any future mice (hopefully)could not eat through the filter. And then I cut and molded the screen to the front air intake and screwed it to so that any mice could not enter to the filter from the outside. Worked great an it even looks great.

Perfect for our laundry cabinets.

Primarily this is a good product. I use it for decorative wood radiator cover screening to let the heat into the room. For heat and cold it does expand and contract quite a bit. So if being used in cold and hot applications you have to build your project in a way will allow the screening to "stretch" (don't just staple it all around) so you have some floating edges. If you hard-staple your screening all around in the Winter when it's cold, the screening will buckle up in the Summer when it's hot. If you build in the Summer when the screen is fully expanded in the heat, it will tear out staples (or tear out the Lincane pattern over time) when it contracts in the cold Winter. The real issue is that there are several items (like moulding) that the HD is not very good at stocking in the store. For every HD I've been in, these aluminum screens in stock look like they've been through the mill a few times. They're all banged up, corners bent, creases through the pattern... just terrible. You're best off ordering online before they're badly handled by other customers. Save your receipt.

I would like to be able to give this product five (5) stars since I have used it for several projects and I like the color and style. However, the product is no longer carried in stores near me and the material is shipped directly from the manufacturer. The cardboard that protects the material in shipping is much too thin and not large enough to protect the corners from damage. I had two sheets shipped to my home and it looked like someone tried to bend it in half. I had to return those. I returned them to a store ten miles away that the computer said the item was in stock. It was not. I just had two sheets delivered to our local store for pick up and the center of sheets are still flat but all four corners are bent. If you need this kind of material for a project, I suggest that you find a local source as the manufacturer skimps on the shipping packaging and it will arrive damaged. The HD review page say not to post shipping issues on the review page, but how will other people not have the same problem if they are not made away of this consistent shipping issue? The feedback page that they say should be used does not appear to exist and there are no links. Hopmedepot should work with their vendors to ensure that items are delivered in a state as described.

Exactly what I was looking for

I wanted a simple sleek way to conceal a bunch of electrical wires coming from my lizard tanks. I didn't want to have to build something, so I bought the lincane aluminum sheet about 3 weeks ago to solve this problem. I curved it around a broad round column I had until it was a semi circle. It held the shape with no problem, and could then stand up on its own. I then placed it in front of the wires, without them touching it. Bingo, it concealed the wires, yet allowed heated air from the floor register in the area to circulate. Good product!
