Installed a pair of LED vanity lights. Purchased a dimmer switch that is good for LED bulbs, but I have LED fixtures with transformers which needs the Electronic Low Voltage dimmer. This one worked perfectly and got rid of the buzzing/humming noise coming from the lights. And the rocker switch is backlit when the lights are not on, so you can locate it in the dark.

Works well with Nicor undercabinet LEDs. I recently replaced my fluorescent undercabinet lighting with the Nicor NUC-4 series of LEDs (also available from HD). I installed a Lutron Diva CL (TRIAC) dimmer which caused an audible buzz at low dimming levels. I returned this dimmer to Home Depot and ordered the Lutron DVELV-303P-WH from HD online. It works great and dims the Nicors to about 20%. No problems with buzz or restart. My house wiring is fairly old and my switches have no ground circuit. However, within the gang box, I found both the ground and neutral wiring needed to complete the installation. I installed this dimmer in place of a Leviton Decora three-way switch. It's a good match in terms of fit and color. This dimmer does have a nightlight but it is not especially elegant. The photos in this review are for general reference only, your wiring may vary. Works fine, no issues at all

My husband had to call the toll free number to figure out what to do with one of the wires. He was able to FaceTime with someone from Lutron, who was extremely helpful & professional. Even though this dimmer was pricey, it works like a charm to be able to dim our new LED under counter lights.

Works well and looks good. But it makes a louder clicking sound than I’m used to.

It worked exactly how it was intended - to remove the buzzing of LED lights. A little expensive for a switch, but at least it did what it said it would do. At this point, I'm not sure how long it will last, but I don't see why it wouldn't so far.

First, don’t be surprised when you pull this dimmer out of the box and confront more wires than normal. That said, installation was typical for a dimmer. Unfortunately, while it performs better with our fancy LED dining room light fixture than a standard dimmer (no flicker, no noise), it certainly does not dim completely. I would recommend this pricey dimmer for anyone with a nice LED fixture. However, our fixture is supposedly 2700K, yet seemed far too cool and antiseptic for our home. Even this nice dimmer could not fix the color issue, and some dinner guests continue to joke about dental or pelvic exams. So please understand the limitations of the dimmer in that it won’t dim completely, and that it won’t improve color of an LED fixture at low level.

Perfect for multiple LED fixtures. No flicker at all.

We bought a bunch of new lights to replace the builder grade ones in various rooms. Did way too much research on dimmers, but I wanted to make sure my new lights with integrated LEDs didn’t flicker or buzz. As it turns out these manufacturers have lists of tested and approved dimmers for their lights. These and the Leviton equivalents were much universally approved for use. They’re ELV dimmers and they were well worth the money. I also wanted a consistent look throughout with Claro ELV paddle switches. There are more feature-packed dimmers out there but these are very robust, have excellent solid “snap” to the paddle switch and slide/dim smoothly. Played it safe, cost a lot more but very happy with the decision.

This is a very high quality dimmer. Whereas other lesser dimmers caused an audible hum in my lighting chain, this dimmer allowed my ~14 recessed lighting to dim at all levels with no audible hum. I haven't found a comparable dimmer in quality, but you do pay for it. It's very expensive.

Overpriced.. but it did what it was designed to do.. was recommended as the only dimmer that would work with our recessed lights..

This dimmer is everything I expected. It is very functional and easy to use. Installation was simple if you follow the directions.

This was the perfect dimmer switch for our led replacements to the 4-ft fluorescent tubes in the kitchen fixtures. This Lutron Diva low voltage dimmer allows the lights to dim down to a low setting without flickering.

This type of dimmer was required for the transformer in the light fixture I was installing. It does require a neutral wire so adding it into an older home would necessitate some additional wiring. I needed the dimmer to be 3way which also limits the dimmer placement because it needs to be on the load side.

Product generally lasts 3 - 4 years running 255 watt load. As it "ages", it losses its ability to dim in the "mid-range". Eventually, it will only have two settings: low and high, with the mid-range completely gone. I've got 17 - 15 watt LED lights (255 watts total) so it's well within the 300 watt rating of the switch. But, I've got many of these switches, and the ones controlling less than 100 watts are still working like new after 5 years. So, I've always assumed the switch is having problems due to the wattage load.

Eliminate humming caused by most LED recessed lights. The light fixture needs to be verified first in order for this product to work properly.
