I was forced to replace this very same unit after 15 years because it got very noisy and would not turn off. I bought a exact replacement and in the matter of an hour had the new one up and running. Very happy with the product.

Worked as described…easy to install.

This is my third unit in the past 16 years I’ve installed. They seem to last about 8 years with heavy weekly use. I use it to pump a basement laundry sink vertically up one floor to the outgoing drainage pipe.

We use it under the utility sink in the basement. This is our third pump of this model and the last one only lasted 7 years. The pump does the job but we hope this one lasts longer. HD had the best price I could find, by far.

Quiet, effective, reliable.

Water removal pump works great...as long as you clean the filter at least once a month. Soap scum (the plumbers call it grease) will clog the filter, then the pump, then you replace it. Plumbers + pump = $600.00 Clean the Filter!

wish it was not so loud. i can hear it while I'm upstairs.

The pump looked well made as well as the outer casing, but the plastic holding structure, discharge pipe and gosh awful cheap filter cage was smashed to bits in the process of shipping to the home. I have discount kids toys that are better made. I thought about trying to fix it, but just returned it to the store. One would think that using heavy steel pump would signify a better all round product. Definitely was not Plug and Play...

Nearly an exact replacement for an older model. The fittings aligned well which simplified installation.

This was a replacement item for me. The old one was at least 8 years old. The old one still pumped water but would not turn off on it's own so I had to remember when doing laundry to manually plug it in (so the utility tub wouldn't overflow) and then unplug it (so not to burn out the pump). The constant up and down the stairs was all good exercise and I have had some extra time at home these last few months thanks to Covid, but it sure is nice to have the luxury of a new pump with a working switch! Be sure to clean the screen regularly!

Easy to install, no problems

Diaphragm switch is too sensitive causing pump to cycle many times. This pump is also noisier than the pump it was replacing.

I had my pump for 4 years for laundry tub use and pump was activated possibly twice a week average. Then it would not shut off. I took the cover off and the motor housing was so rusted it was difficult to see the configuration of the motor.

This pump works great until it doesn't. I had one professionally installed with a basement laundry sink that takes my ( filtered) washing machine outflow. The first one lasted 3 years until the internal float switch failed and it got stuck on . Once stuck on, the pump impeller gets noisy and burns out from running dry. Tried rebuilding it but it was still noisy when finished. Bought the second complete pump system and that lasted 4 years. Then the same failure mode and it stuck on till it burnt up. Bought and installed a 3rd unit and it lasted two months before the switch failed in the on position again! I think I caught this in time so am going to try installing an external float switch in the sink. THis pump clearly has a design /manufacturer flaw to have three like failures in 7 years. If the external switch doesn't work, I'll have to pay a plumber to install a different brand.

This unit replaced a failed pump, same model, which had been in place for about 15 years. It’s been in for a few weeks and works great.

Easy install works very well

Excellent system. Only drawback is that it takes up more space than add and picture led me to believe.
