[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a super bright light which literally will replace the need for 4 fluorescent bulbs with only 2 leds. I will be using this to illuminate my work shed to replace temporary hanging work lights. At only 2x4 this will illuminate a 6 x 9 work shed giving me a lot more space to hang tools.

They are definitely brighter than I expected. Almost like daylight! They start quickly and are very quiet. A much needed upgrade from our old one. Very impressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shortly after purchasing our first home this past year we have spent countless hours in the garage working on remodeling the home . The garage light we have isn't very bright and we often find ourselves opening the garage to let in needed light to finish a diy project we are currently working on .After arrival of this Prismatic Lens Lay in Led Troffer i wanted it installed as soon as possible .I wasn't aware at first it was a lay in design. However that wasn't gonna stop us from trying to install it in our garage .We had to make a few minor adjustments beings it wouldn't be able to be installed the way it was actually meant to be . However that only took a few minutes and a few extra screws and the Led light was up and running .I love how much light it gives off in my garage and not needing to open the garage door everytime we do a project is a plus in my book . The leds are nice and bright and i need no other light to see .

The gloss white frame and prismatic lens make this light look rich and beautiful. I like the LED lights because they are very bright where we need light in our basement. My husband loves it because it helps him see clearly when he works on constructing his fishing lures. The prismatic lense disperses the light brightly and evenly. The LED lights are long lasting and energy efficient saving us money. I would recommend buying this LED Troffer to anyone looking to upgrade to brighter quality lighting.

Has a very nice sleek look and works well newly finished garage. Best part is that it's energy efficient! I would like to get another one for our basements kitchenette area once we redo it. I would definitely recommend the Prismatic Lens Lay- In LED Troffer to anyone looking for a new lighting.

Lay the troffers in and screw them to the grid....easy done Terrific lighting performance.Very cost efficient energy wise and affordable maintenance costs. Just be aware that different areas have different code requirements.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced an existing light fixture in my basement with the Prismatic Lens Lay- In LED Troffer from Lithonia Lighting. This one is seems like it will last a long time. It is much brighter than my old fixture. It was easy to install, but I didn't see much instructions for the wiring.I had to Google it. I like that the bulbs light right away unlike my old fluorescent lights. I will look into upgrading all of my lights in the future.

I no longer have to carry a flashlight whenever I need to grab something in there. It doesn’t overheat or put out too much heat. Very satisfied and recommend this brand !

We just had a single light bulb fixture for light in our garage and it was so dark we needed a flashlight to find things. Since installing this, it's so much more convenient to go get things out of the garage. My husband said it wasn't hard to install. He is not a professional, just a do it your selfer.

We installed this light in our new building over a work space and I was amazed at the light it provided. Being made with steel construction it is very sturdy. Provides even lighting , and very clear and bright lighting. Was easy to install, with great instructions.

These are much brighter than I expected. I wanted to start replace the existing florescent tube light Troffers in my basement. Fortunately I turned them on after replacing the first one. If I would have replaced them all it would have been way too bright even for a family / game room. I had to change the layout and configuration of the lights. They are great color of light and I'm sure they will save on our electric bill. They fit perfectly in a 2'x4' suspended ceiling opening

Gives a good light distribution and was fairly straightforward to wire and install. The lense cover was detached when it arrived and I found it flimsy and difficult to re-install and it cracked it in the process. Otherwise it's a good product that I would probably purchase again.

I have installed this in my dental lab and we r very happy with the colour and brightness. For the price it is hard to beat

This troffer was installed in an existing light box over a kitchen island. Troffer dimensions were identical to those of the 4-bulb troffer that it replaced so no modification needed. Placement of the LED lights in the unit resembles a 2-light fluorescent fixture but provides illumination that equals or exceeds the old 4-light unit. Unfortunately, we wanted a troffer that doesn't show a distinct fluorescent bulb pattern when illuminated and were told that there is no such troffer fixture but have since learned that another mfr makes a troffer w/o a distinct bulb pattern so have ordered from HD and will probably replace this unit solely for aesthetics.

I installed these in my basement as work and general tasks lights, and they are wonderful! Not only are they a better quality of light than the fluorescents, but they're brighter, require no routine maintenance, and don't tax the circuit to the point of tripping the breaker with the use of a shop vacuum. My only complaint was the shipping carrier. The metal housing on a couple of my lights were bent as a result of being mishandled, and 3 of the 10 acrylic fixture lenses were broken. I've yet to follow up with Home Depot for replacements.

This fixture is easy to install. It is a direct replacement for our existing troffers and is much lighter, too. The light output is bright and the color is better than the old fluorescents it replaces.

panels were broken upon arrival when unpack aged and there was no damage to box so came that way from manufacturer had a professional electrician hear and to find out will have to pay for him to come back then tell me it will be another 7-10 business days before i will receive replacement

Not trying to knock light. I love look but one year and light dose not work. Trying to get help with warranty company back East . NOT the easiest to get a hold off. Will leave more feed back after company tells me what to do and how to get it to them. Might just be me any body else having light problems?.

We are remodeling our basement to a photography studio and sewing room. These lights provide abundant lighting to perform these tasks. The lights give off a white light which is perfect for photography and matching fabrics. Plan to install these lights in our entire basement.

Was pricey,but over all happy with the light out put,very bright, and no ballast noise Purchased ,total of 5 Only draw back is the price.but I would still purchase again.

Ordered 10 units, all 10 were damaged on the corners, 5 had broken lenses. Was able to use all 10 after bending them back in shape. New lenses are being shipped. Dimmers for these units, 0-10V, are very expensive $70-$100 each and require two more wires to be run to each light and run back to the dimmer. At $75 an hour for an electrician, I chose not to use dimmers, and returned them. Despite it all I love the lights, they look great and give out great light and only use 59 watts. The old fluorescent lights used 160 watts and gave out less light (lumens). Home Depot gave me a 10% refund on the entire order, due to the damage, that was fair. So despite it all you will love these lights! And you will save a ton of money on electricity. I highly recommend these lights, NOT THE SHIPPING FROM UPS!

Product arrived damaged. When I called to report it I was told a new lens was going to be shipped immediately to replace the damaged one. This damage did not occur in transport since the missing piece was not in the box or shipping container. It was shipped damaged. The frame is also lightly damaged. The lens frame does not fit back into the opening since it appears it was dropped and bent. I am still waiting for my replacement part. No quality control or customer followup is evident in this transaction
