Customer Reviews for Lincoln Electric Single Flint Striker with Flints

The striker plate is round, unlike my other strikers. This means it has less surface for the flint to make sparks from. So it throws a few weak sparks. And sometimes no sparks. I use the extra flints that came with it for replacements on my old striker that has a flat striker plate and makes more sparks every time.

Good striker I'm even using it at work right now

Easy to use to create spark. Happy to get some extra steel bits, but would have liked to have them in a case where they won't fall out and get lost.

I only needed the flints but it was about the same price to buy the whole sparker again. It works as expected. Nothing revolutionary.

Hard to create spark

I got this to light my propane torch because lighters didn't work very well at all. This solves the problem and works great.

This is terrible! The flints barely make any sparks!

This is probably the worst striker that I have ever used. For some reason they made the striking surface for the flint curved, it simply will not strike.

Difficult to get a spark that ignites torch.

It works as designed

JUNK. I can make a spark if I hold it with 1 hand and press down with the other hand forcing pressure on it. I guess I'll just have to lay my gas torch on the ground to light it with this garbage. Come on Lincoln, we expect better from you!
