It seemed well-made and functional, but it did not work for me. For it to work well, you have to have a door with exactly the right thickness. My door was about 1/16 inch too thick and the "over-door" part, being medium-duty metal, is not adjustable so would not slide all the way onto the top of the door. If your door were slightly thinner than the bracket, it would probably work alright, but the closer the fit the better. So, measure carefully. My solution was to buy a stick-on hook (capacity of five pounds) which is working well so far, actually looks nicer, and is supposed to be easily removable without damage to the surface. You can't tell that it's not screwed into the door permanently
