Cheap and poor quality
Regret buying this thing. Yet again: you exactly get what you pay for. Hooks so weak that my underwear hung on this goes down off the locker immediatelly

Many of them have their magnetic separated from the chrome....
Many of them have their magnetic separated from the chrome. One hook even broke from its base.

The description of these hooks is a little misleading. I ordered 25 hooks on line but when the hooks arrived I had 100 hooks. These come 4 hooks in a package.

These are medium-sized hooks, great for hanging a calendar or a few keys on a key ring.It won't hold a wreath on your front door (go for the larger ones for that) and I wouldn't trust it to hold a coffee mug. I'm really not impressed with their magnet at all. I guess I expected something a little more powerful, and I was hoping to hang some small tools on the metal cabinets in my garage. They won't hold a pound and start sliding down the metal surface long before I expected.

We received them today, packaged in somewhat medium size box with a lot of paper inside. I am wondering why so much waste of packaging and shipping expenses. The company should have mail it by USPS. Now about these magnetic hooks. They are made out of very durable high quality steel. The polished chrome finish looks great and hooks themselves are very helpful and convenient to use. They hold 5 lbs weight as specified, no complains here.

OK ,so these hooks look good and should do the job that you think they will do, but the fact is, yes, you can put them on your refrigerator and hang keys from them, but if you have a heavy key ring, they might not hold, while it is a good idea, the magnets are not all that strong, so if you do need to hang something on there, make sure what you hang is light and these hooks will work out fine ! they do look good, but not very strong!

Not as Strong as Expected
Smaller than I expected but I probably did not look closely at the size. More significantly, they are not as strong as I expected. I used a postal scale to measure the capacity which is only 4 oz. when attached to a metal file cabinet.. The hook does not fall off, it slides down the cabinet so It could possibly hold more if you put something under the magnet to increase friction and keep it from sliding.

The worst.
These hooks barely hold themselves up on a wall. Put anything on them and down they come. Somebody said they hold 5 pounds; no way - not even 5 ounces. And when they DO fall off the wall the magnet shatters when it hits the ground. Home Depot oughta just pull this product. The "Handi Hook" and the "Carabiner Hook" work fine, also offered by Home Depot.
